Cheers Dave yeh good customers get looked after. One older couples patio it did about 5 years ago I’ve been back 3 times to clean it already most likely I’ll go again this summer just feed me tea and biscuits and I’m happy 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

@@HGarry4012 I can’t remember the make of the sealer but it’s just a paver sealer there’s lots of them on the market the bonus with ceiling the pavers are helps keep them clean mostly and also hardens the sand between the joints which will then help airborne seeds not settle. Are used to tabs on that driveway cost the customer about £160 then I did everything else for free because I was bored and also a nice guy. 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

OMFG! Please bare in mind that I am in hospital and have not slept for more than 30 mins at any time over the past few days. I've been building since 15, I am 55 now but when you said you was going to sand the blocks I thought "oh yeah? that'll be interesting". 8 minutes into the vid I suddenly realized you didn't mean the kind of sanding that I was thinking of, I had to pause the vid before my belly laugh pulled some stitches. Nice work BTW so ignore the doubters.

He went really close to those steps with his alloys..it’s a scuffed wheels job waiting to happen..I’d put the steps behind the wall and have a proper sweeping drive .bring back tidy bricks for a modification I think..hang the expense..

@@tidybrickslandscaping thanks 'bout that. I build calculated driveways and I've seen the need for them, especially in Attlanta, USA. In that place, when you buy a house, they'd say "Choose your own poison." All because you they knw you'd would meet issues with you driveway; elevation issues between road and park park space.

@@tidybrickslandscaping Ahh, not really seeking help, but rather holding out a manner of working, which, I believe, is sought by the TRB (Transportation Research Board), which ran a research and compiled information of a project called 'NCHRP Project 15-35, Geometric Design of Driveways'. The setting out for that job must’ve been a nightmare. I’m a fussy bastard and I can’t find a single issue with it. That brickwork is also to an exceptionally high standard. Amazing stuff

It ain't the smoking that done my lungs in ... it was using a cutter for 35 years without a mask , and I still don't wear one now , I just position myself so the dust blows away from my face . ☺

I never used to bother with a mask. But lifes to short Always try to wear a mask now. And quit smoking few years back. Feel much better for it too. Not preaching though 🙄

@@tidybrickslandscaping i always had in my head you couldnt do a soakaway directly under a mouth of a drive like that, i thought theyd implode😂 Did you use crates? Also What stops the crates from sinking from the saturated ground mate? Just curious because im pricing one at the moment where its tight for a soakaway and i really dont want to apply for planning etc.

no because that would breach a few planning laws according to SUDS and would be classed as more of a sump/silt trap as opposed to a soak-away.

These pavers were granite topped that gave it more grip so very rigid maybe that helps 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 good question

Actually this is a job quite very difficult to achieve, brick work still intact that retain a lot of ground pressure, hope you charge accordingly, k put it to £57k

Thanks for that much appreciated Petru as for the price you’re miles off It came in at 25k massively underpriced and the next job was (dodgy partnership) gone wrong 😢 lost everything that year huge debt relationship fell apart kicked out lost a lot of weight proper head shot. As I always say Chin up could be worse 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

@@tidybrickslandscaping J realised something in my 10 years experience I rather work less and alocate my time to the right customer just rather do every job When you try to get ax much work as possible you are tired fizically and mentally and when a potential job arrives you will under estimate Happened to me on few occasions, m absolutely ignore people who haven't got a clue what they want

Effervescence can’t help that one just needs pressure washing now and then. It did have some white marks on the bricks anyways part of the style 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The salt is a bastard . I used 4 packs earlier this year . They were SOAKED THROUGH . Salt coming out of them .
