the square circle things by the engine start button are how you lock the differential meaning you can rock climb without helping it with node grab

14:22 notice how the car gets launched to the side. Trains have a similarly designed plow called a cow catcher. It is designed to toss anything the train hits to the side so it is less likely to get caught in the trains wheels.

I can tell that this vehicle is inspired by the Dragon Wagon which is a military cargo truck that's capable of going through reasonably deep waterways.
