It's all about the tires. Car doesn't matter dummy. I've been driving my 2015 through the past 5 north east winters

I want to say, I daily drive an '07 Mustang GT year round up here in Wisconsin. It's not difficult in snow just have proper shoes ;) I have Blizzak WS90's on my baby and she trucks on through 5" and she's lowered on Eibach Sportlines (2" drop).

Front wheel and all season would probably struggle a bit too, winter's a must. I do like the feature where it cuts off power and you don't just spin the wheels, probably helps quite a bit

It’s called having the right tires. I have dedicated winter tires and I never slipped once in snow with my mustang.

I slapped some bridgestone blizzaks on my mustang and winter is no longer a problem.

OmG...I bought a 2006 Dodge Charger in early March 2020 and I noticed that it would slide all over the road too and struggle to go over runts too!!! I named my car Faith Pampered Princess II...aka Surfer Girl...because she would slide so damn much!!! I havVe all season tires like I used to with my other cars but driving my charger over very wet heavy snow was friggen scarrrrrry yesterday as our city got completely dumped on with lotttts of snow!!!😱😱😱ThankS deeply for sharinG your views about your Mustang...I think that they weren't meant to be driven much in the winters in heavy snow!!!✌😇🌎🐿🐇☕☕☕

Manual is better when driving in the snow, plus winter tires and the snow mode probably helps too, but I never use it. But driving a car like this in the snow is pretty fun. Got a big and wide parking lot I take my mustang too when it snows, always a ton of fun.

I have summer pzeros on my mustang ecoboost and managed in winter in scotland with them on, manual car is better in snow than an auto too 👍

Every time I have to drive mine in the snow, I'm saying the same thing. "This is so stupid." Often followed by a torrent of profanity. Also, agreed when it comes to disabling traction control. When it's on, it just pulls the power and won't go anywhere. At least with it off you can kinda power through the ice....albeit sideways.

I have a 19 gt and I just got stuck in my driveway for 2 hours. Right at the incline where the sidewalk/street is. im in NY and were getting quite a bit of snow. I even shoveled much of it and still had issues. I would not go over 30 mph in that car in the snow

Please can you precise what tires you have in this video ??? If you drove this car with the stock Michelin Pilot or Pirelli so in this snow I can tell you that it's very stable !!!! , but if you drove it with Winter tires than it have 0 grip :)

Are you driving in snow/wet mode?

If you drive a Thunderbird in the snow it makes you hard. 😊

Did you have advance trac on with traction control on and snow/wet mode?? Having those all on simultaneously might have made it a lot better for you

When its below 30 or something it seems like our 18gt pp1 (6sp)get stuck in snow mode and wont let me change until its warmer.

Cars and tires are like shoes, you wouldn't wear dress shoes playing Basketball.... While some have success with mustangs in snow they dont actually have a lot of snow and are using winter tires... While if your driving in real snow, which is over 1 foot you should only drive 4x4 if your going to buy a mustang in an environment where it snows like that you should also buy a winter beater or not expect to drive on big snow days.... I have a 2016 Mustang GT and never drive it int he winter, we just got 15 inches of snow today where I live and got through it like a boss in my 2009 4x4 escape. But I was curious how my Mustang would have done which is why I came to your video.... BTW dont floor it in the snow if your just starting off from a dead stop ... You might have better success in the snow going up hill if you take traction control and advanced track off (obviously test it first in a parking lot to see if your driving skills allow you to drive still like that) To do this is the same in both escape and mustang, when TC is on hold the button to turn off, but instead of clicking it hold it for 10 seconds and it turns everything off. This will stop your car from bogging down.

You probably should’ve made a video like this, because the mode was definitely working properly. Just your input and what you wanted it to do it override it obviously...on top of it trying to make the system work properly. All that nonsense was you behind the wheel. Because if you read the manual of what it actually does it was doing it, and your input was vetoing the whole concept.

You don’t know how to drive in the winter. It is you not the mustang. I drive mine in the snow with all season tires and have never have problems. You can’t drive a mustang in winter the same as you would in summer
