Early morning start at the national hospital Mater Dei, after some sad news with my brother in law, I drove across Malta to a popular tourist area called Dingli, almost across Malta almost 15 km

Sincere condolences, Steve. Mater Dei (Mother of God) hospital were great in patching me up after a trivial accident injury six years ago. The docs and staff were competent, kind and very helpful. So at least he was in good hands. Wish you strength in grief.

During my latest, last and 10th visit in January, I also visited the Hospital to collect some important medicine for a friend of mine, who had become sick during our common stay at Mellieha, The Danish Village. He was brought home to Denmark with a Doctor in the plane back, and flasks with oxygen. He sadly also died shortly after coming home! My dear wife never allowed me to bring my Brompton, folding bike, though I have tried to tell her, it was originally built for riding in "the wrong side", but to no avail! And as now both 76 we sadly won't come back, from the risk that something will happen to one of us! We saw the problems when becoming ill in a foreign country, as now elderly people. But thank you for all our good times! Finn. Denmark

And as a Dane, I wonder why I hardly ever saw someone riding bikes on Malta? A such small Island would be fine for using bikes, as in my home, Denmark!

Hello Steve, greetings from Somerset UK. Just come across this vid shortly after my brother Pawlu Goodlip and his loveley wife Sylvia have flown back to Malta today after a 7 day vist, they broke the very sad news about Charlie a week ago. I believe you know my brother who was Charlie's good friend a colleague, my sincere condolences to you and family. Very sad news, I knew Charlie from when I lived in balzan many years ago. Keep up the good work with the videos, they always bring back beautiful memories of my beloved Malta and it's unique charm. We will be there in June....cannot wait!

sorry to hear about your brother in law Steve wish that everything comes better ! big GET WELL SOON!. nice video as always love to go to Dingli its a nice place anytime! sometimes i went early in the morning and of course its amazing during sunset. went last saturday to watch sunset but from Qammieh place where s the Radar in Mellieha it was an amazing sunset. anyway nice video !

So sad to hear the news of your brother-in-law Charlie passing. Was he the jolly chap cooking in your video in Gozo? How life changes so quickly from one day to another. Condolences to the family, sorry to hear about your brother in law. Steve was it just a coincident that you visited the chapel at Dingli because there is a stone plaque outside the chapel with the name of Lisa Maria Zahra Fenech. Was she related to Charlie by any chance.

I did know about that plaque no hes not related to her, but it seemed fitting to stop there at that time he hadn't passed away but things were not looking good !! Thank you for your thoughts, sadl times,
