Yes, this changes with every tide and every change in the weather. Always a different adventure especially at Nkgala rocks.

Yep...travelling around with nephew teaching him a bit about sand driving in his truck. Video while we go. Just goes to show don't need a brand new cruiser to get around. Just need a bit of knowledge and experience.

I like your content, you are precise, informative and factual with your knowledge and descriptions, thank you for sharing. I would like to know if you can give an estimated time for travel to the light house, please.? I am planning on travelling on Friday the 17th of March or Monday the 20th from Eurong. (These days may have less people going through Ngkala Rocks). I am estimating 1 1/4 hours each way and an hour to look at the sites around Sandy Cape Lighthouse, quick flick, travelling 2.5 to 3 hours either side of the low tide. Am I at least close on time frames?

Thanks Mate...Yea your spot on. Allow about 3 hours. Nkgala may be your only hold up. However been heaps of rain about so sand is well compacted and should be easy going through. But be prepared for the drivers with 25psi in their tyres...lol.....Happy and Safe travels. Enjoy Paradise !!
