Driving from Los Angeles to San Diego

A complete drive in California from Monterey Park in Los Angeles County to the Banker's Hill area of San Diego. I start off at a strip mall called Mar Plaza, and then take Interstate 10, Interstate 710, and Interstate 5 to my destination.

I did this drive a few months ago. The coastal highway is beautiful. Passing Camp Pendleton there were helicopters flying around over the highway. It felt like I could reach through the sun roof and grab the landing gear

A more scenic route if you have the time is the Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1) from perhaps starting at Long Beach to the end, Dana Point. From that point on, you’ll need to continue on I-5 near the coast to reach San Diego.

Love these drives. As a transport for my job i take this drive here and there and always love it. Even though i have to go and come back pretty much right away its still nice 🥲
