Is the new 2019 Porsche 911 (992) as good as they say? I was very fortunate enough to be invited by Porsche GB to put the new porsche 911 992 carrera s through its paces. This is also the first ever porsche 911 i have driven. Being the 8th generation of 911 the porsche 992 carrera s is an incredible car! I show you accelerations, a full review of the car and first drive and share with you why the handling on this car is incredible as well as the exhaust sounds and full overview!

Great review. The C2S has been doing 0-60 in 3 seconds flat by several reviewers and dyno tests have indicated closer to 500HP at the crank. Porsche underrates their performance numbers.

The opening shots coupled with music were some of the best if not best I've ever seen from every top reviewer, even magazines... Perhaps a better mic needed though. Also, nice job in Die Hard 1!

Stef ABtv I agree with this comment stef.. the cinematography was amazing on this video.. in the future you could have slow motions and gradual fade effect with background music playing whilst you’re driving etc

How tall are you and what would you guess is the maximum height that a driver can be and still fit comfortably in the 911? In your response please take into consideration fitting comfortably against the headrest. Also, in the video you discussed how low the seating position is in the 992. Is it lower than the 991 or 991.2? I ask because the last 991 I sat in a few years ago, did not have enough headroom for me to feel comfortable. The head rest was also too low. The 911 is a car I aspire to own eventually, but regrettably I may find it difficult to justify owning if the car simply does not fit me. Your thoughts on this are appreciated. Thank you for the video.

Fantastic video. First time viewer. To see a genuine reaction of a first time drive in a 911 was quite refreshing. And for that very reason, I think myself, as well as many others, would love to see you go through the Porsche lineup, starting from the 964 model and working your up to the 991 model. What an iconic shape bit more mean at the rear. The hood tho wow, classic ! The tiny gear lever will surely be phased out after the 1st year doesn't fit into the retro horizontal dash. Enjoyed the video and JWW's one on the 992, sportscar royalty 👏

For somebody who is new to the 911 it's a good review. It's actually interesting to see the opinion of somebody who knows cars but hasn't experienced previous generations of this particular car. One small error though. I don't think the engine has actually been moved forward but the engine mounts have.

Congratulations on a well executed video: Unfortunately it was nearly ruined for me in the opening moments - Porsche launched the 911 in 1963, it was not conceived in 1965 as you said in the video (maybe you could redub it)? The 992 is further proof that even after 56 years, Porsche can still continue to develop the 911 but personally I still prefer the sound of the naturally aspirated 3.8 in the 991.1

Unfortunately the new 992 Carrera (2s,4s) Have this weird Horizontal lines 3 to be exact across the back this does give the illusion of a wider body but it does bother me. Now the 992 Turbo (S) has corrected this issue. I still prefer my 991.2 Turbo S to the new 992’s.

The 50 hp less strong Audi rs3 does 0-60 in 3,7 seconds as well. I don't understand why this guy is actually acting as though Porsche reinvented the wheel at about 5:00 A 3,2 second would have been a step forward. Now the improvement from the equally powered 991.2 GTS is just point 2 of a second - and lower top speed + the addition of the 8th gear make for an overall slightly shorter ratio, translating into quicker acceleration. So let's stay realistic: it's quick, but it's not quicker than could be expected
