Day 8 of The Slaw's 15 day drive along the Wild Atlantic Way ‪@wildatlanticway‬ in their Hobby motorhome ‪@HobbyCaravan‬
They are following the route North to South taking in all the Signature Discovery Points and most of the Discovery Points.
Day 7 takes them from Tully to Galway.
Signature Point - Derrigimlagh
Discovery Points - Islands View, Clean Harbour, Omey Island, Sky Road Viewpoint, Dogs Bay, Glinsk Pier, Pearse's Cottage, Spiddal Pier, Silver Strand
Campsite - O'Hallorans Caravan & Camping Park

I do enjoy the pace of your videos and the accompanying music. Always lovely driving through those coastal villages whatever the weather, and Galway looked a really beautiful and lively place. Lovely to see the dogs being made a fuss of too. Nice Jubilee tribute Mrs Slaw. Hear, hear to the moho/camper etiquette 👍 then everyone gets to enjoy their journey. Sadly some people are oblivious to the needs of anybody but themselves (not just on the road either!). Interesting looking camper at 3:31. Nothing worse than an over zealous drain cleaning man at half five!! Looking forward to watching your next instalment. ATB, Sue x

Thanks Sue! We are very pleased with our choice of music for this series. Galway was strange - all the staff and bar owners loved the dogs, but they weren’t allowed inside 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great video, decidedly as wet as Scotland but still beautiful. The narrow roads have me a tad anxious! Guinness looks lush and it’s a different drink there than here! Great chat and splendid editing, we are loving this series guys !!!

Loving watching this tour, I’ve spent a lot of time in Ireland and it’s great to see so many places I’ve been to. We did a cycle tour many years ago from Westport to Doolin and over to the Aran islands, slightly slower pace than you, but same amount of rain, no gortex back then. BTW it looked like you drank your first two pints to soon, I was told that you should let it settle fully before taking first sip, difficult to do I know 😜. We’re planning on doing a slow tour of Ireland one we retire, this is only making me wish it comes sooner.

Mmm the Guinness again... AND Murphy's ice cream. Well I never did. The dogs performed beautifully and so did Slaw of course! Beautiful coastline and several peaceful, seemingly fairly well used mini harbours. But those right-by-the-road sea views were heavenly! I can't wait for my turn! We have this problem with mossy. We gets taxi because some will allow dogs . We wouldn’t stay in places unless they are proper Aires or Campsites. Because you will get youths at night messing about in some areas in Ireland. .
