Interior in one piece, not rattles, some of the dials work, the steering seems connected to the wheels. This one seems in great shape!

I have a 1.9 TDI Golf Mk3 with over 500.000 km. Still gets up to top speed no problem and was able to do a ~5000 km eurotrip last year in one week without a single thing breaking. Legendary car 👍

This Golf 3 is pretty clean, quiet, smooth and nice!! After watching passy's video, I no longer complained about the cheap and old cars in my country, and my perspective on cars changed. Here, if the mileage is more than 300,000 km, it is considered a junk car. :(

@@anicapandzic7593 In South Korea. Here, too many cars are scrapped because of high mileage, even if they don't have any technical issues. Also, Japan is more than half shorter than this. (Above 150,000 km are rare in the used car market.) This is because Japan imposes higher taxes on older cars and they do not drive them much in their daily lives. And from the Japanese perspective, 'old cars' are exported to the world. It's a shame to change cars quickly in a rich country.

almost 1 Million KM the interior looks great and there is not so much damage in the exterior also no cracked windshield

Make that 2000. All the Golf IVs and B5 Passats are rusting to shreds or falling apart all around the Balkans right now. No such issue with the Golf IIIs or B3/4s. (well, ok they rust too, but not nearly as badly)

@@Fabianthehunter My view on that is you don't see them in Germany anymore because all of them were bought up by Serbs, Bosnians, Hungarians, Poles, Belorussians, etc. The ones even we didn't take must have been terrible I'm sure, but there's good reason why the MK4 wasn't quite as popular in Eastern Europe as the MK3.

This is the "family" edition, which means it's one of the rare ones with both front and SIDE airbags. Also, since y'all from africa, how hard is it to find the africa-exclusive hand-pumped lumbar support? I'm looking into making my own Golf Mk3 a "max spec" model.

Some of the old banged-up cars (which are obviously imported from Europe, Asia and America) are truly too hard to die so soon, and they are still daily driven in many African countries until the grim reaper decides that they will involve in horrible car crashes and cannot be driven anymore.
