Thank you Misty. I live by the ocean and sometimes I wonder if that has anything to do with these pests. The raccoons also can be a little scary since I have my cats outside. The possums actually eat alongside my cats😂. I don't mind them as much. They help keep my yard clean.

How about a video on how to deal with the inflammation from mosquito bites? Does milk thistle extract make a difference? What about those devices that heat up fast, and pretty much spot-burn the bites, as they claim the heat breaks down the toxins your body is reacting to? Topical soothing ointments?

Ciao Dr. Axe! I love your video, all your wonderful information and thorough explanations, thank you! I bought a couple of your books and love them- in the process of reading & absorbing all your incredible information! I have a couple questions for you: I live in Italy- so not easy to find the same kind of supplies you are using nor the vast selection to choose from, and certainly much more expensive! I was wondering the difference between using a glass roll top bottle that has a metal ball verses one with a plastic ball; could the metal ball leach dangerous chemicals in the oils (made in China= no real quality control or guarantees!), but I heard the plastic can be degraded from the oils (& can also be dangerous leaching chemicals in the oil when hot)? What do you think? Moreover, is it better to use an amber or blue tinted bottle verses a clear bottle to preserve the oils from degrading? How long would a batch of the Bug repellent last once filled in the bottles? Should they be kept in the refrigerator? For your recipe: can I use Witch Hazel astringent (used for my face; from a beauty supply) or is that different type? Also, any apple cider vinegar can be used- better organic? If working in the garden outdoors, how often does the repellent need to be reapplied (since there's no way around sweating from the humidity!) I have used a natural type that was made up from and purchased from my local pharmacy, but it seems not to deter the mosquitos, as I got majorly bit up everywhere- even after I used the spray, rubbing it in over my body!! I grow in my garden rosemary, lavender, etc. Is there a recipe, for future use, that would allow me to dry & use those herbs in a base liquid (aloe vera, vinegar, neem oil, etc.) to extract those natural properties that I could later use in place of buying those essential oils? Maybe it is a bit complicated at this point, so the essential oils are quicker & easier to use for a novice? Do you have a referral for a trustworthy & ethical company for essential oils that also supplies customers in Europe; the cost of all the supplies is already quite the investment, and the additional shipping cost (if they even make it here) are a huge additional cost! I appreciate any advice and information you could pass my way. Thank you again! ❤Paj Tognetti

I always get confused on directions because I am very literal. Does this mean 40 drops of each essential oil or 40 drops total which would be like 13 drops of each etc.. I think this is an important point. If anyone can clear this up for me. Appreciated!

peppermint is great for repelling rodents, it messes with their scent paths inside the home and for outside (such as around your trash cans) it repels the larger rodents as they just plain don't like the smell.
