@@samstits8982 I am researching this topic right now after thinking my issue was something else. Pudendal nerve issues are closely related to other issues so we'll see. Not many doctors are experts in this field but if at some point you need more relief, I found 2 dr's- one's in Seattle, WA and the other is in Fort Meyers, FL. I may be taking a road trip.

I've been dealing with this issue for 1 year and 6 months. I can't find my initial comment from 6 months ago, so I will write a new one, as I have an update. Back then I mentioned that last year (2023) these exercises caused triggers for me, which caused burning sensation. I had also mentioned that I started using a tennisball sized cork ball which made a big difference. Since April I also went to physical therapy and my therapist is specialized in pelvic floor issues. She basically goes internal to give relief to what causes the nerve pain, but I want to stress that the most helpful were cork ball exercises that I developed for myself: I sat on the ground, lifted myself up and moved one side of butt cheeks over the cork ball, and basically massaged the areas deep in the tissue that hurt the most. When the left cheek was massaged, my left leg was placed over my right leg to expose the muscles more to the cork ball. After a while I did the same on the other side but switched legs. After that, I got up and just jumped up and down to get the blood flow through all of that. It immediately relieved the tingling, itching or burning sensation. I kept doing this everyday for 5 months. Recently (May 2024) I also joined a gym and I go there twice a week to exercise my butt muscles. Today June 30th my symptoms are so minimal, life is as good as back to normal, I'm sure if I just keep doing this they will be gone for good. The cause for me was straining the butt muscles over a long period of time while working on a laptop, without any exercise. To whoever will read this, I hope my experience will help you get well again, too.

I had a DaVinci hysterectomy which went a bit haywire. I was having difficulty prior to that surgery.. The pain when I evacuate my bowels is unbearable. I finally had to go out on disability. I've had 2 lower back and one neck. After my DaVinci I became so electronical I ended up in the emergency room. I finally was diagnosed with caudia equida syndrome and purdendal neuralgia. I do have pelvic therapy and tried everything. I found PT has helped, however my bowels and bladder are effected. What a wonderful video to stumble on.

I'm interested in starting your videos but I have a problem. I can not get on the floor because getting back up causes terrible pain to my pudendal nerve. Most pain is in the base of my tailbone. Can I do these laying on my bed? It seems it's too soft to get the right position. Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for your time, Lacey

I’m suffering from this terrible pain as we speak… thanks for this video to try to help. :) I’ve been seeing spine specialists, physical therapists, urgent cares, and chiropractic. Oh, and a podiatrist for insoles as well. I’m running out of hope. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go next? Debating going back to the ER, but they just send you away, anyway. How do I get relief from this? :( I can’t even have any erections anymore. I’m not sure how to advocate for myself from this point because I’m just sad and giving up. Sorry if this sounds whiney… just not sure what has worked for others, or where to go from here, and every day that passes makes me more sad.

Hi, I was wondering if you could with an issue I have. I’m very flexible, so when I’m stretching against the wall, I feel a little tightness in my inner thighs. But I also feel strong tension in what I think is a muscle (below my hip bone and a little bit towards the groin, I can feel its tightness with my hand). And when I lie against the wall for a while, these muscles get tight and I can’t lift my legs back so I need to lift them with my hands. I don’t know if it’s tight hip abductors or psoas or something else, but I feel like it’s contributing to my pelvic floor issues too. I used to be able to do splits and I only developed this tightness a couple of years, I think from sitting cross legged at my desk job. Sorry for the long post but I was wondering if you could tell what the issue might be? Thank you

Hi there! I always recommend seeing your healthcare provider for what is best for you. Sitting a lot can create tension and tightness as well as not having an optimized core and pelvic floor system. Breathing and posture are 2 keys for this and can contribute to tension and tightness.

@TibetanFox68
@TibetanFox68 2 жыл бұрын
I've had it for 22 years. I gave up a sitting job and started walking regularly, and that helped a bit, but it still causes problems. I tried acupuncture, injections, read a few books about pain management, self-hypnosis, but they didn't help. I DO however think it can be self-caused, perhaps your body created it to avoid doing things, and could be tied to anxiety (John Sarno did an interesting book about this). It could also be trigger points. There is some stuff on the internet about all these things.

Really great question and so glad to hear you checked in with your doctor, so important! Yes some people can have rectal pain caused from pudenal nerve irritation. Everyone is different in what exercises and how often so listening to your body is best. These exercises coupled with your breathing can be done daily, some people find every other day, and some find a few times a day helpful. It's important to not over stretch and be very gentle and continue to keep listening to your body. Keep up the good work 💕

Great questions! No holding your breath in between. Inhale diaphragm is descending and lengthening pelvic floor muscles and exhale contracting and lifting pelvic floor back up. It’s constant movement with the breath in and out.

First i would say stop masturbating and using the pillow. Masterbating that much is too much and is actually causing your problem. It’s cause you to over tighten your pelvic floor in turn is causing you to over work the muscles which is causing the problems you are having
