The call centre industry needs to diversify quickly... with the advent of AI technology and the increase of automation, Jamaica's call centres might struggle in the near future if it doesn't innovate with the times. Bear in mind that the CIBC is not a recent development... it was there from years ago, and was the only structure there for a while; seemingly a priority at the time.

I am watching the call centre industry closely re the AI Technology that comings. CIBC recently rebranded in Jamaica.

@@drivinginjamaica I'm aware of CIBC's recent rebrand... but the physical bank location itself (when it was still First Caribbean) was there on its own for many years.

I dont know if u are aware that all the new bpo facilities being developed in jamaica are done by privete developers of by the factories corporation (fcj) ....not by the bpo operators themselves...they are still leasing these spaces

$1billion to renovate a building that doesn't belong to you and i believe they will also do one in st mary, so thats $2billion. The person that did this should go to prison.
