It’s film, no one catches fish every time they go fishing. Also, if you fish everyday, you’ll know more about where the fish are. You’ll generally catch more fish than a guy who goes out once a month or so.

By the way, this may be a throwaway video or trip for you, but I have to say I really appreciate this one. Lots to learn from this. My father always said “outside bends” (because you get depth contours there) and this looked to more or less follow that pattern.

Get the kayak! I bought one when I retired and it's been a blast. Backwaters, ponds, rivers, all lots of fun. And I've never caught more fish since switching to kayak fishing. Stealth fishing at it's best.

The salinity changes due to rain and tide but you would be surprised how far up the cape fear river you can catch saltwater fish.

Considering you're fishing the Spheros SW x Stradic FK frankenstein reel, what you said is not entirely accurate! :'D But they are very nice reels. I have a 3k and a 4k and they see a ton of use and abuse. Well, since they basically are just re-colored Stradic FKs for like 30% less (at least where I'm from) it's no surprise they can deal with a ton of bullshit

once you hit one stripper its time to go there's another eighty with him or her down there use some Cat food and tuna Mackerel sardines in a polymer net like the potato's and onions come in in bulk at the super market put it all in the blender till its a slurry and put in the freezer in a small bucket with holes drilled in it lower it under the boat like a chum bag be carful about attracting bull sharks moving in the tidal exchange they can be aggressive
