Its normal to record a rescue. At first he didnt know what to do because he thought it would be fine alone swimming. But eventually he got around it.

Some of these rescuers were pretty "lame", BUT however inept, they managed to accomplish their mission and save some doomed animals. Thank you.

I ordered a "scamper ramp" for in ground pool. Of course if I was home I'd jump in! Did that with a chipmunk! I wanted to keep him so cute! Thanks to all that saved these animals!!!!

There are little plastic lily pads that people can attach to the side of the pool, so that small animals have a way to climb back out. Please get some, if you have a pool. Thanks.

The Bunny At The Start Is So Sad :( It reminds me of My Bunny That Was Attacked By A Stranger who Came From The Forest and He Held It Under Water, And He Started To Beat Up My Other Bunny, Killing it as well. We decided to get rid of the pool and build the graves for our bunnies. The man got a fine and was taken to the station. He was reported drunk and homeless. R.I.P Lucky and Spot.

Would've been hard for the snake to get out though. Most animals can swim and/or are great swimmers including rats, mice, squirrels, etc. but if they tire themselves out too much or absorb/ingest any chlorine then they're fucked. Plus what he said ^ filter torrent.

I breed rats. I can tell you it was a baby rat in the pool and only two weeks old so he couldn't muster up enough strength to get out of the pool. :(

I saved a lizard drowning in a pool once in South Africa at my uncle's house. Unfortunately I didn't have a phone to record it.

don't you mean "fortunately"? people are waaay too fixated on their phones these days, none of you can do anything without filming it. it's more important that you save the animals and release them safely back into the wild than holding your phone in one hand so that you only have one hand left to help the poor animal, thus decreasing the odds of the animal surviving. all so that you can "prove yourself a hero" on social media.

I think the problem is that a lot of animals have trouble getting out of swimming pools, and even if they are great swimmers they eventually get tired and drown. It's hard to tell from the video but maybe the snake wouldn't have been able to get out. Just a thought :)

When I was at sleepover horse camp for 2 weeks, there were frogs everywhere and I found a tiny frog floating in the pool I tried to give him pinkie finger cpr but it didn’t work
