Do you respect your friend? See her as a person. She is schizophrenic, has schizophrenia, or is a person with schizophrenia. I’m not trying to be mean I d on hope this helps, but it really would be very hurtful to many ppl to be referred to as a blank because they aren’t their disorder, they’re a human with it. @@emmadrew3911 I have schizophrenia, I am (and a lot of us are) good with being called “someone with schizophrenia” or just “schizophrenic”. A lot of people do try to speak for us and call the term schizophrenic insulting or dehumanising, which actually has the effect of telling us that the real medical name for our condition is an insult. This actually can cause a lot of self stigmatisation as our condition is apparently somehow inhuman and that we are less than human for having it. Being called “a schizophrenic” doesn’t feel too good though I agree, I have no problem with the schizophrenic part but that phrase is generalising us all into a group, solely for one feature, so it’s not really dehumanising but does ignore our individuality. I am with you on this!

I really do try not to speak for others it’s just that as someone with conditions I would be fine with being phrased in the other ways but not with the a before it in a way that implies it precedes my humanity, and someone who has several schizophrenic friends, I felt it was important. Glad you agree. It really is awful the stigma around the condition.

You are able to smoke while pregnant. I know people who did while pregnant and their babies are fine.

Yea some people who smoke the baby seems fine when born. Often the children have problems that become apparent after time. And sometimes it is immediate. I have a colleague , a nurse , who smoked through her pregnancy , and then sat by her baby’s bed side in hospital and asked me “why would my baby have bronchiolitis and asthma? We never had that in our family.” It didn’t occur to her that her smoking may be a factor / not just when pregnant but around her newborn. Some people are addicted and I have heard some people told not to quit as it would be too hard emotionally and physically , but to cut back as much as they possibly can manage. Yes some people may not see the effects , and the effects may not be known until years later , but it’s not good to smoke when pregnant. Just because some people do it and don’t think their baby has a problem, or don’t realise down the track when their child develops a problem that it’s related to smoking , that doesn’t make it a good thing to do. It has been proven to increase chance of prematurity which increases so many risks of problems that can stay with the child for life. I’m really happy for people who have a health child despite smoking in pregnancy , or think they do because they don’t realise their child’s long term problems trace back to the damage done in utero, or that their baby was premature because of smoking , or that years later when the child is diagnosed with cancer they don’t stop to consider the carcinogens they exposed their baby to. But I’ve seen as a nurse the damage smoking in pregnancy and around infants and children can do. I wouldn’t risk it. Nor encourage anyone else to. Not all kids who have wandered in to a road have been hit by a car either but I wouldn’t let my toddler play there.

It's pseudocyesis (false pregnancy). The women on this episode call it "cryptic pregnancy," but that's the term for pretty much the exact opposite of their problem: it's when a woman doesn't know she's pregnant until the last few weeks of the pregnancy or even sometimes not until the day she goes into labor

There are a lot of well documented cases of cryptic pregnancy (the real cryptic pregnancy, not what this lady says is a cryptic pregnancy... what she might have is a phantom pregnancy, which is completely different). A lot of times it can deal with women who are overweight or just plain in denial because maybe they didn't want to have children.

It sounds like what I had. In 1992 I started to get pains on my right side. They weren't too bad, just a quick sharp pain, then it was gone.But things really hit home, when an acquaintance asked me if I was pregnant. I noticed my stomach was getting bigger, and when I would lay down, there was what looked like a "baby bump". I found out it was a large Dermoid cyst.I was grateful that it was benign.

Thinking your body isn't stressed from lack of oxygen is the definition of 'dumbed down'. Masks are killing your immune system. A vaccine will eff you up more than the cv flu. 5g is coming...you're sabotaging your immune system...it won't be a happy ending. I had no idea there were This Many Stupid People. It's one of the saddest, most insane things I've ever seen...people who think their organs will be fine with the severe depletion of oxygen that would normally be carried in their bloodstream. It's like you think your body just puts up with anything. Your body performs a miraculous balancing act every minute of your life. To deprive it of the single most important ingredient that ensures your continued good health is profoundly ignorant. Healthy people do not spread disease. Fear and lack of oxygen spread disease. You won't see the damage right away...and even when that damage does appear you'll blame it on something else. But it's the children I worry about. It's the children...who will have their parents to thank for their failing health at an early age. I feel like maskers are Nazis.

This is very sad because if you watch her other interviews with Dr. Phil a doctor diagnosed her with bladder cancer, hence the swelling of her stomach and the “masses” she’s supposedly seeing. This woman could be letting cancer take over her body and she has children and grandchildren of her own to live for. I truly hope she seeks the mental help she needs to be able to battle the “real” health problems she wants to ignore .

Same thing happened to my mother. She looked pregnant but it wasn’t till a while later did we find out she had ovarian cancer. Because we didn’t know early on it was too late so when her surgery to remove her tumor came up it busted mid operation and spread throughout her body, I miss her to this day ❤️

I have retro inverted uterus and this is not rare at all. The pharmacy pregnancy test was positive 5 days before my period was late and they could see I was pregnant at the same day via ultrasound. Now I’m 8 months pregnant and my baby boy is healthy and big… there is nothing wrong with a inverted uterus and doesn’t interfere in any exam too. It’s my second baby.

I have a severely tilted uterus. Same difference. Nobody would know unless my doctor let me know. She yeans to feel that her life is edgy and dramatic. Imagine if we all had to go into an ultrasound saying, "Now I could be pregnant, I don't know and I guess you can't tell me Dr.? Help please...

Are you sure about the time you where pregnant? What did they see on the ultrasound? 5 days before you are late on your period nothing has starten growing yet... that's just past implantation and about the rlearliest you can do a pregnamcy test.

Me mum had a big swollen belly & it was hard like she was pregnant but she was in her mid sixties. It turned out to be a ten pound (ovarian) tumor, which the doctor had told her she didn't have anymore. Doctors really messed her up & didn't take the time to explain to her what they did when she had a hysterectomy at age 26. Doctors need to take the time to explain these things & quit worrying about their damn paychecks!

My grandmother had ovarian cancer as well. She had to have a full on hysterectomy when she was 40. You’re right about how doctors don’t take the time to tell you things. She went though full blown menopause and had no idea what to do about it or what to expect. She ended up developing cancer in her breasts later on, she passed away at 82. Cancer is a horrible disease.

As shown in the video, Cryptic Pregnancies can be incredibly distressing, upsetting, and traumatic for the person suffering from them. A bit of compassion, and understanding wouldn't go amiss. They are not "crazy", they're just convinced there is something there, even if it isn't. Is someone suffering from a schizoaffective disorder an idiot because they have visual/auditory hallucinations? No! So why should these women be subjected to such vile comments, when they could potentially be suffering from conditions that may not be as different as you think... Mental health shows itself in a vast array of forms. ALWAYS think twice before you open your mouth! 🧠

Out of the 300 stone baby cases that we know of, most of the women were not diagnosed until their mid 50s, with the oldest one being 100 years old when she found out! Some of the women even went on to have a second child without any complications. Truly mind blowing.

First of all, my mom is an ultrasound tech and they are not allowed to share results with patients. Secondly, there are multiple things I’ve heard of that this could be. It could be a rare condition in which the person’s mental state is compromised and they believe so strongly they are pregnant that their body actually starts showing symptoms. It could also be a massive tumor. There is a type of tumor that has hair, teeth, and other gross stuff inside it, so that might be why the ultrasound showed hair.

Those tumors are called teratomas. I've seen one in real life, back in the 1990s, weighed 303 pounds when removed, made Guinness Book of World records. They are exactly like you described, with hair and teeth (dentin).

I know the story you're talking about, it was in India and the woman's body surrounded the dead baby in calcium, it's called a lithopedion. She got very lucky, in most cases the baby decomposes and causes infection if the the woman doesn't have a D and C.

I'm going through something similar. I'm not arguing that I'm pregnant, though. I have been missing my period since April. The last time I was with someone was in January, about 7 months ago.. I've done urine tests, blood tests, even an ultrasound but once where I had to pay for it, also transportation costs etc. And doctor told me there was no baby there. My stomach doesn't stop growing, breasts get swollen, period missing, uncontrollable weight gain.... All tests have shown I'm not pregnant. I've desperately looked for a doctor who can give me answers. Unfortunately I live in caguas, puerto rico and haven't found a single one willing to help with my case. Its not seen as an emergency here either so I've been like this for a long time and i feel miserable most times.

Because those Doppler devices can pick up a pulse from any large artery or vein in the body. You could put it on your femoral artery, on your thigh, and pick up a heartbeat. She's picking up her own heartbeat in her abdomen. I'm really surprised nobody mentioned this on the show.

A neurologist once told me that actually believing you are pregnant even if you arent gets some hormones going and that's why stomach get bigger as if she is acutally pregnant. I asked him the reason cause we got an identical case in my psychiatric facility.

We have a similar case in the philippines of a gay man claiming he was pregnant his belly was very similar to this woman heartbeats, kicking and other things a pregnant woman feel. Turns out he had something called “Phantom Pregnancy” it is when the body thinks you’re pregnant

This woman is so delusional. I have an inverted uterus too and I'm 6 weeks pregnant of my second baby. The urine test was positive 5 days before the period delay (3 weeks gestation) and the same day I went to make an ultrasound and the doctor could see a small gestational sac already (embryo was too small to be seen). Now at 6 weeks we can see the baby developing and catch the heart beat. There is no pregnancy happening in the back for inverted uterus, is just an odd position at the exact same place.
