When going through menopause, I had fluttering in my stomach, twitches that felt like kicking, to the point I thought I was pregnant...a lot!! Negative tests all the time, it felt real..so real. BUT I believe that hormones were causing changes in the uterus and ovaries that caused the twitches. No baby ever arrived and I'm 10 years on now.

Now, I don't believe that she's pregnant, but it is a little odd that they didn't use the Doppler on the sonogram machine when she went in for the sonogram. These two ladies went in to the doctor's office talking about wanting to have that done and the doctor didn't do it , and now they're going to set up second appointment to do it. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense as to why the doc didn't do it the first time.

This is a mental illness. Because, sure you could be convinced you're pregnant but after 9 months, if you're still not delivering maybe ask yourself some questions? Like the one who claims she has been pregnant for 3+ years, when are you due then?! They need to see a psychiatrist for delusion.

This can actually happen but I'm not sure if it can last that long. I knew a girl that got pregnant, but when the ultrasound was done there was no fetus inside, only an empty spot where the fetus should be. She did have all the other symptoms of pregnancy though. Her body believed it was pregnant, prepared the placenta, but there was no actual conception

I've had cancer and if someone told me that I would do everything I can to get insurance to get it checked out cause its a terrifying thing to happen to a person. But if she doesn't have insurance then how is she getting all these ultrasounds done? And ive been in and out of hospitals a lot and I still would go if it meant being alive for my loved ones, I hate hospitals with a passion. And how would she be back and forth from hospitals if she doesn't have insurance her stories are just not making any sense

It is very briefly mentioned by one of the women, I think the older one, that she has no health insurance. That is the main problem, for both of those women have several things in common: A) they are not very smart: they do not grasp the concept of what is the reality: 1) a pregnancy, in order to exist, has to take place inside the uterine cavity. There are ectopic pregnancies, but those always manifest with acute abominal crises, which, if not treated, will lead to women bleeding to death by loss of blood into the abdominal cavity 2) in order for a pregnancy to sustain, a complex of hormonal changes need to take place, not only for the fetus to grow from one cell to a full baby, but also to prepare the mother for the delivery and postpartal female bodily functions to allow for child nourishment. 3) all higher number pregnancies result in premature birth, due to lack of space within the womb. Six babies have certainly occurred, but only in women, having undergone IVF. 6 babies in three years of pregnancy would require a mothership of the size of an elephant, if natural growth would continue as intended until the normal delivery date after 9 month. 4) why does nature not allow longer carriage of babies life: because the growing child would either have to be of very delayed growth, this pregnancy would be endend by the normal biological mechanismns, because the baby would be so severely challenged, that nature would not allow for it. 5) these women all suffer from two ailments: 1) Hormonally triggered pseudo pregnancy /phantom / false pregnancy: this is a condition, that exists in almost all mammals, maybe even in other, non-mammal, animals. It is a female of the a species believing, to be pregnant or expecting offspring, due to hormonal influences, that mimmic those in real pregnancies. That is, what both women have, I wonder, why it is not being mentioned. 2) Co-factor to 1) is a mental factor of "wanna-be-pregnant" due to status of attention, feeling special and having a reason for being overweight. B) they cannot afford proper healthcare, which would include proper mental care. For, and this is also not mentioned here: one could easily do an abdominal MRI or even abdominal CT-scan (both are old enough, not to harm vital organs. Real doctors, know, that there is no fetus present, that can be harmed). So at the end of the day: a lot of hot air exchanged, with no outcome. I wonder, if those women still think, that they are pregnant after 10 years?
