Although u heavily contradicted the text of Langman's Medical Embryology as the book says the pleuroperitoneal folds cover the septum transversum and thus in adult diaphragm three functional components are there i.e. Dorsal mesentery of esophagus, pleuroperitoneal membrane and the muscle cells from somites at C3-C5.
