Im not from britain but i get the jokes about germany, but not jokes about scotland because im not familiar with their culture. I dont even know what the fried fudge is about. All in good fun. Edit: check out death to 2020. Ullman does similar jokes while playing elizabeth ii that make fun of commom peoples views on royalty but not about the real queen.

The actress playing Brigert... she is spectacular. Really, she is off-the-map good. The overall feel of course, but the details, details, details, sketch after sketch. Highland fudge or skyping with the US Pres. ... I suspect she and Ullman get along like a house ... thoroughly enjoying itself.

I remember Tracey Ullman from 30+ years ago.. I never understood her humor although I always respected her. I may be late to the party but I'm so grateful to finally arrive. Kudos to Tracey and her fans through the years.. lots to catch up on !!

In all seriousness though, if Scotland had of become independent, it would have been interesting to see Sturgeon and Merkel together on the European stage. It's such a shame that Sturgeon's departure from politics was followed by allegations of embezzlement and corruption. Even if one didn't agree with her policies, she was one of the better leaders in the UK at the time. At least she appeared that way. Disappointing really. Nevertheless, Tracy Ullman's brilliance in imitating both Merkel and Sturgeon is excellent and very, very funny.
