Drugs In Magick and the Occult

This video has been a long time coming, and I have gone into this before but people wanted me to elaborate. I go into the use of drugs within the context of magick and the occult. I know my opinion may be an unpopular one and I am not judging people who use drugs in magick, I am just giving a warning and some Information as to why I have this perspective.

This is some inspiring stuff. I am not pro or against the use of psychedelics, but the experiences I have had with them have been scary, and with some considerable mental health issues under my belt, I could never, in all honesty, recommend anyone to dabble lightly.

Thanks man, This was a hard video to make, I agree with you on psychedelics, but I think that people like Terence McKenna did nothing but damage to people and by proxy the occult with pushing this stuff as been almost necessary . I am sorry for your experiences, I have had pretty much nothing but bad experiences also when I tried them. I was into other drugs when I was younger. Anyway thank you, I am not anti- drugs but there use in magick is something I felt i needed to address.

Coming from someone with 22 years of experience Interzone is 100% correct. I have explored alcohol and weed, but that's as far as I will explore and I'm done doing that.

Thank you Jacob, I made this video in the hopes that someone may listen. I am not innocent but I don`t mix drugs with magick for a reason. I have seen many lost to madness from it and hope to help others from the same fate. Even if its just one person who listens. Anyway Thank you for the comments!

•The best defence against psycic attack is a well rounded life. A balanced life. -Balancing work with social life, balancing work with exercise, and balancing work with meditation; requires humility and receptivity. -The little neurolinguistic programming i do on the regular is for a balanced life and ideally squaring that circle. It aids in grounding me. I don't think it's lofty. In fact I think it's mundane.

You have the right of it, A lot of it is maturity too, once you get a bit older you start to sort yourself out if you wish to grow as a person, but that balanced life, the middle pillar of sorts is the way to go, even as you said it can be mundane, but the practice of Magick is anything but mundane.

I only use alcohol to communicate with my gods and I usually avoid doing magic unless one of them is doing the magic through me. Weed is better for meditation work, booze. I'll never touch hard drugs given what I've seen in summoning spirits with help of one of my gods.
