With my DM we came to the agreements to make a homerule about that subclass where instead of choosing a unique circle from which you gain certain spell, your circles spells are decided by your immediate environment. I feel like it goes well with the thematic of the druid channeling the magic directly from the nature around them.

I think you got Natural Recovery wrong. It's worded identically to the Arcane Recovery feature all wizards get - which restores a total of spell slots equal to half your wizard level, rounded up, with none of the *individual* slots being 6th level or higher. The combined total still keep rising up until level 20, at which point you'll get 10 total levels worth of spell slots back.

"...You gain access to circle spells connected to the land where you became a druid." While I believe that if the goal is simplicity, you should just pick any of them them that sounds best; technically, it does say, "where you became a druid." which is a pain and a half if you ask me... It makes some sense if you think about it lore wise for your character, these regional ties are more like where were you converted to become a druid that makes nature so special to you? The weird part about places like the Underdark, arctic, and dessert regions is I can explain why you would go there, why you meet some hermit there, how you could get converted there, but if you were starting off your life I can't think of any reason you would go there without skills, abilities, or protection... This idea makes sense to me but I hate it so much... If I were the DM I would tell them about it but I would tell them not to hurt themselves trying to remember which magical log they tripped over and when... mainly cause I've built a druid before that his reason for becoming a druid stemmed from his 2 separated parents that loved each-other but didn't want to live together. So he did a lot of back and forth so how the heck should I know which magical piece of grass did it for me...

So one of my players decided his backstory was basically he grew and sold weed until he was enlisted for the war, etc. Etc. What circle would be most helpful for that?

Making a circle of the land arctic druid is fun

I was always a rogue in everything rpg I play. But after playing curse of strahd as a druid its become my favorite

I wish the Moon Druid also had the ability to regain spell slots like the Land Druid does. It would make their ability to use the spell slots to regain health even better.

I think Land Druid's combat value is at least 4. For example, Arctic Druid has such awesome spells like Sleet Storm always prepared. And all Druids have POLYMORPH.

Hope someone can help me with this. I wanna play a druid as Support. Really the main focus should be onhealing, buffing, utility. Is it possible to do that with Circle of Land or do i have to go Circle of Dreams or something else for that?
