I love watching and listening to proper old fashioned rock drummers like Terry Williams, Bev Bevan etc They make folk tap their feet, clap and want to dance. Bill Bruford and co may be able to do time signatures most can't even comprehend but they don't move me the same.

Thanks Phil I've only managed to edit Terry so far got Gails to go on as part 3 and also Pete and intro also which i only got hold of today hopefully upload by end of this week.

Reminds me of the Ginger Baker feel: loose, a bit sloppy and with the sound you need to make good music...

1991? wasn’t Terry already “fired” from Dire Straits? Very good drummer by the way!

Terry wasn’t fired.Dire straits as that line up disbanded in September 88 and they all went their own way👍

Just curious but was it terrys choice to walk away? They only replaced drums and rhythm guitar, everyone else stayed, I thought terry was superb and was a shame he didn’t do the on every street tour

Jeff porcaro and Manu Katche were used on the On every street album! Porcaro could have toured with them but wanted to stay at home and of course he died the following year!
