Korn forever and always Since junior high in 1998 I fell for them. Now mom is the one still listening to one of the best live bands. Kids love it and we will always appreciate all of the members talents. Rays so talented and a great person making it even better

Ray is one of my most favorite drummers ever. His style is so kickass and relaxed and in the pocket always. Casual sick drumming.

Some people clearly don't know how good Ray Luzier is, they don't know him. What he plays on Korn is not even half of his capacity, because Korn doesn't need more than that. The guy is a legend, teacher, he's been on the road for a long time now, it's worth researching.

I love KORN and for me as a drummer, David Silveria’s drumming style was a big part of their appeal, but Ray’s technicality has reinvented their sound. I dig how he lays down his own vision on David’s drum tracks whilst adhering to the nucleus of each song. Can’t go wrong with a session drummer and seasoned pro like Ray.

Been a korn fan from the first album, korn - korn. I have all their albums on CD, originals. I honestly believe david created the original korn sound and its gonna be hard for anyone to top his style

When he first joined, i thought he was too showy but now i love the dude. What gets me is on some of their album versions of songs that are dub step or whatever, it sounds like programmed drums or a drum machine, it aint. He sounds just like the album version live

2010 I met Ray in San Antonio, Tx. by pure luck. I was a cab driver and picked up at the airport. My passenger was a very attractive girl, probably mid to late 20's and she was a flight attendant still in her uniform. She said she I was taking her to The Quarry Amphitheatre because her boyfriend is in a band and he plays the drums. I said oh cool, I play drums too. Now I'm thinking local band, nothing special. So I asked her what the band was and she said her BF's name is Ray and the band is Korn. I just about ran off the road....I was like WHAT??? OMG!! She told me that he is paying the cab fare and I am taking her to his tour bus...and again, I freak out. OMG... She gets on her phone and actually calls him to say she's on the way and proceeds to tell him about her cool cab driver and she hands me her phone and said "Hear you talk to him, I am gunna change clothes real quick"...I didn't know what to think at this moment...I am talking to Ray Luzier of Korn on his GF's cell phone as she is changing...everything...in my cab! Holy Cow! (Yes I adjusted my rear view mirror. lol) We get to the tour buses and there was one for each member of the band. Ray walks up to us from the stage area and they hug and then...he shakes my hand and says " Hey man, nice to meet you. Thanks for getting her here safely." We talked for a few minutes and the rest of the band stepped out of there buses right there in front of me!! They went straight to the stage and Ray paid the cab fare and I asked him to sign the $5 bill he gave me for a tip. Ray said "No one has ever asked me to autograph a $5 bill before, this is a first!" He did it though and gave me the sticks in his back pocket! Super friendly guy and what a cool experience!

Whatever happened to David Silveria? I used to be a huge Korn fan in the 90's when that song "Blind" first came out, I kinda stopped following them at some point and didn't know they had a different drummer nowadays.

He's good. I'm mildly impressed because he's playing at a good high school kids talent level.

Don't get me wrong. He is a decent drummer and is far better tahn what I could do. But in my opinion as compared to other professional drummers he is mediocre at best. I'm too spoiled from Buddy Rich videos!

Rays a great drummer ofc but he's metal/prog. Over use of double bass, spinning sticks, no actual funky groove. Silverias hip-hop funk groove is what made this song and their sound when i became a teenage fan back in the day. Now before dick riders get upset, this is MY OPINION, which essnetially cant be argued. Is Ray the techinally better drummer, likely. Do i prefer him, no. As yes, I play drums and have done for many many years now. Music is subjective so no need to feel to argue. If anything, I say this as Dave doesnt get the credit he desrves....IMHO. Peace
