In a sense this is also the Drums of Liberation. Imu is liberated from everything, there is nothing stoppping him from doing whatever he desires, but that extends to him and him alone. Luffy wants Liberation for everyone, that's the difference between them.

I'd argue that Imu is the *least* free. They can never leave Marie-joise, never be seen or heard by anyone. And if someone does, they're to be killed with extreme prejudice. Imu will never know true freedom.

@@EmpathNaga Wrong though - Imu COULD do all if it, if s/he wanted. Imu is not a mere figurehead shielded from the world, but the highest power and decisionmaker. Just like celestial dragons: they are not trapped, they merely don't give a rats anus about anyone beneath them. The only time they venture out is to humiliate others or get something special. Imu propably just cares even less about those things.

For Imu since Imus head is shaped like a bell and the bells of the WG is rung 16 times( Imu, "I" and "mu" can expressed with the numbers 1 and 6 in japanese thru a form of wordplay known as Goroawase) I believe its more accurate to say the Bells of Oppression which parallels the Drums of Liberation.

@@DanielFilsAime Well first of all, we don't know if thats a crown bc all we see is a silhouette and knowing Oda for all we know its like a weird freaky hairstyle lol. but regardless I'm referring to their entire headshape including the "crown" or whatever appearing as a bell. If you can imagine those little kind of bells where hold it at the top and shake it to make it ring.

here is the main issue i dont see luffy ever going against IMU if Imu doesn't take something big from luffy. luffy doesn't care about the government he just cares about freedom Imu would have to be directly involved with a strawhats death to warrant this type of 1v1 deathmatch, every villain luffy fought was for his loved ones or friends.

Luffys final attack, Sacrafices his devil fruit power unknowingly to unleash a 1 hit k.o. on Imu. Turning Imu into a devil fruit himself and then destroying that fruit. Luffy, after the battle, has mastery of all forms of haki as the king of the pirates and can finally go for a swim. 😂
