This is hands-down my favorite episode. When he laughs about the leeches and snakes, I still lose it no matter how many times I've seen it.

This is the best 'Drunk History.' The way he slurs his words and laughs through the doctor part is hilarious. And the "Happy Mother's Day" gets me every time...

William Henry Harrison's last words, spoken to his Vice President, John Tyler, were "Sir, I wish you to understand the true principles of government. I wish them carried out. I ask nothing more." Which pretty much does translate to 'make the government run good."

I the low quality production and the general drunkenness of storytellers was the most authentic in these early skits

That's cause they're actually drunk and care about history being spoken in their own drunken ways, instead of fake drunkenness by fake historians pushing an agenda.

I just love how accurate these stories actually are. Everything down to Harrison's last words. Of course he didn't literally say "make sure the government runs good", but that's just a drunkified version of his actual last words which had the same sentiment. The only really "wrong" thing was the snakes thing. They actually used leeches and snakeweed, a plant. But again that's assumed to be the mistake of an inebriated narrator.

I absolutely loved how he shoved the guy out of the way when he decided he was going to "do all the White House grocery shopping" himself. This is just plain brilliant, no other word for it.
