About 200m down the road at the edges of the parking lot were a Rajasthani auntie and uncle couple selling chai. Chai wasn't really what I had in mind for a drink to quench my thirst but when you see a chai shop with "Chai" written in giant Devanagari, you don't just walk past it. I came asking for a cup, and asked for the price as I always do when I try a place I was a bit surprised when she told me it was 20 Rs (~$0.24 USD). This definitely still isn't expensive for a cup of chai, but it is double the price of a normal cup, which is normally only 10 Rs. I thought nothing of it and just joked around with the auntie and uncle selling. However, they must have felt bad and eventually decided to tell me all the cups were 10 Rs a piece.
After finishing my cup of chai, I continued walking down the street, to where there was a small chai stall with a few people standing around it. I didn't plan on stopping sine I had just had my cup of chai from the Rajasthani couple, but there was a seemingly tipsy man standing around who came up with a big thumbs up. I think he noticed the camera and wanted me to take a picture, and so I started talking to him. I offered him a cup of chai and he happily agreed. After standing and talking around with him for a while, he offered me a special gift.
