Make sure you borrow or buy a flow meter before the fill so you know the exact gallonage. Handy to know when using treatments or working out optimum flow rates etc!

Hi Paul glad to see the G4 is working out for you, personally I wouldn't use it up on the walls any higher than you have, cos it's sods law you'll think of somewhere else you could have used it lol, and as you know it's not cheap, also you could have it as a backup for your windows, but fingers crossed it won't be needed. Rob.

Great video Paul.. I don't have a bottom drain as they still scare the hell out of me.. Especially bursting pipes in our winters. So I am undecided on the eazy pod or the 200.. I can get either one from a friend.. I want to still use my filter falls and may add a few barrel filters.. But the pump size I would need for the nexus 200 might be a bit much given the amount of projects I will have going on.. Redoing living room.. New furniture.. Painting and doing shiplap ceiling.. Plus plus
@PaulsKoipond3 жыл бұрын
Not much furniture mate or you wont be able to get more tanks in...you could always sit on the easy pod 🤣

@@PaulsKoipond Or the curb as my wife would be kicking me to it if I don't get some new furniture.. See we gave our living room furniture away to family thinking we would get some new stuff.. Very good progress Paul. You can buy a nexus waste pipe kit of ebay which joins those 2 pipes into 1 pipe. Would save having 2 pipes running into the sump. The smaller one hardly gets used anyway matey. I got one and it was cheaper that the official kit from EA. Just need gluing together. Hope you have had the same nice weather as us here. Cheers.
@PaulsKoipond3 жыл бұрын
yes mate i saw the kit and i know the small waste will probably not get used much, going to be buried anyway and i already had some of the pipe...cheers buddy

@@PaulsKoipond That's all good then. Just watched the video again and noticed you have a connector screwed on the pump (the one that came with the pump) It looks like you had that in the rubber boot from the nexus to line up your white return pipes. I might be wrong but if that's the case, that connector is screwed on the outlet not the inlet of the pump. I'm Probably wrong but just thought I'd mention it in-case it is wrong then at least you can change it before gluing it. Cheers.
@PaulsKoipond3 жыл бұрын
@@Simonsimps got all that in the box mate....did have a bad night sleep because it suddenly dawned on me that i haven't accounted for my uv light.. I will have to check the flow rates through it or maybe put it in the skimmer line instead...cheers bud

@@PaulsKoipond the key is to be quick before the resin goes off is cutt the fiber glass matting down to size before starting set them out so you can resin the wall up then laid the matting then roll the resin in like i say once youve done first stage after its gone off make sure you sand it flat it gives it a key for the flow coat and you dont want any sharp bits for you koi to catch themselves on mate good luck cant wait to see it
