Great video thank you Mark. My koi kept begging for food last year but I never fed them, it was funny because it was only the koi the golden oarfe never bothered lol

What did he say about feeding them mate I know it’s a bit old. Just inherited my dads fish feel a bit lost any tips would help cheers.

Great video how much media did you use in the bio and what size air pump do you use?

Aquaponics systems use the detritus from fish ponds to feed the plants in the system. So you might want to re-route your 'waste' from going down the sewer and through your garden :)

Nice looking pond. A lot easier to keep warm in the winter. I'm at fitting one of these filters. Any idea how much these filters release when you do a flush. Also did you add any more media to the bio filtration. Says upto 150 litres of k1 in there?

50 to 60 litres I would of thought. As for media it all depends on how stocked your pond is. But you can add more. Micro k1 is better in the inner chamber.

I'm looking at getting one of these - how come it doesn't use any filter spongers?

The inner filtration area is still so it traps all the wast particles.

You sure this is a 220? Nexus nameplate looks wrong to me (wrong colour and no 220 on it) also 220 has micro k1 media in the centre, this looks to have standard k1.
