My neighbor was a recovering alcoholic so I got to drink lots of different non-alcoholic beers. RIP Bill. His AA group was at the funeral and that assistant priest guy poured out a whole bunch of that communion wine, and almost no one drank any of it, so he got to drink 98% of it. I don't drink but I got my freakishly red wine, my cracker and a dab of oil.

In the UK they try to get people to do “Dry January”… Which I guess is an attempt to let our pickled livers recover from all the Christmas/winter depression drinking.. At least “Dry July” actually rhythms.
