Dryer Making Metal Scraping Noise: More than likely the felt seal is worn out, I will show you how I do it, one thing I did not show was to make sure you wipe up any glue from around the seal once done.

It is a older sears Kenmore dryer and it still works great besides those seals I have to replace.

What happens if you mix up the connections inside the dryer while reassembling? My door switch has different colored wires

What causes this to happen? Our speed queen dryer is only 7 months old and is making that metal scraping sound. It seems like a premature failure

could be. the tub will wear out I am thinking. not sure if I would run with out fixing.

The water heater repair guy wanted $1900 dollars and we had to supply the water heater for a broken site glass. He said its an old water heater a 2008. All i did was found a piece of glass and plugged back in a unplugged plug probably from the Estimate giver. I was about to purchase a $500 water heater and do it myself until i found that SOMEONE unplugged the plug in the area of the site glass.. iTS BEEN WORKING FOR 2 YEARS NOW
