Ever put your clothes in the dryer and start it and walk away, then come back after it has stopped to realize it's still wet? At times the dryer heating element goes bad or even a thermostat, a switch ,or even the thermal fuse. in this video you will see that the dryer wasn't heating nor was the timer knob moving. in some dryers the timer knob won't move until the dryer has reached a certain temp. Watch this video and you will see how simple it is to do your own troubleshooting and save $$$$$$

I learned something bro, thank you for taking the time to make this video. UPDATE: thanks to this video, went straight to the heating element on my dryer and sure enough, one of the coils was broken. Thanks again man.

Thanks for this! Turns out one of the breakers for my 240v jack is only putting out 11v. I wouldn't have even thought of that without watching your video.

Question for ya. My dryer isn't heating and the timer only moves on the timed drying cycle bur it doesn't move on the Automatic dry cycle. What does,that sound Like to you?

Question. I replaced my heating element a couple weekends ago. Now im having issues where its heating just not alot and the timer isn't working. Would it just be the timer?

Check heating element again with multimeter to ensure you getting proper continuity. If that's fine check thermal fuse. If it's fine then check wires to ensure no breakage and last check timer continuity. Your dryer should have a diagram in the back when you open panel to help you which contacts to connect.

I hope you will answer me. Or someone will. So I watched your video a bunch. When you're showing the letters and you say"over here is the bk/vk'.. It's so dark I can't see the letters? Also I decided to take the time apart. 🙄 Big mistake... A copper L shape piece fell off. I placed it back and it stayed until I slightly turned the timer in it's case. Help me please. I'm 64 and I'm 😅widowed. With the economy I really want to fix it myself. Know what I mean? Thank you!

It's needed because that's how you can pin point exactly what is wrong with your dryer instead of guessing and start buying parts that's not needed. Do you know anyone you can borrow one from?

🤔🤔🤔🤔 definitely will disagree, I got it fixed and it works. I learned trouble shooting washers and dryers from electricians while I was in the military 🪖 so I think my background speaks for itself. I might not know every proper word to say or explain but everyone has there own orthodox way of doing things. Thanks for watching my video though 🙃🙃🙃
