Dave Smith Instruments Mopho X4 user presets
Mopho X4 with Strymon Timeline and Bluesky
Some of these presets are used in my project (Hadron Orchestra),
and some other classic presets.

Until I saw this video I thought that I wanted a Mopho x4, .............. now I know that I do! The best example of Mopho sounds on KZfaq in my opinion. Now on replay .... having fun spotting Yazoo, Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, Vangelis and more ...

The last soundscape at 11:12 reminds me a lot what Richard Barbieri uses in some intros on Porcupine Tree tracks... Well done!! This synth sounds superb!

Great user presets , this synth is used by Suzanne Sundfor live , so I think it´s a great pro-synth at a very good price

I ordered BOTH and got a FREE Tetra 4 in the deal! Seriously! I am i the process of re-designing my studio so I can reach all my gear while sitting, I hate leaning over. The units all came in and only had time to hook them up and test them out, BUT WOW what beasts!!!!!!!!!!! If you take a look at my channel and some of my vids you will see why I have to re-set my studio. :) I will keep you posted as soon as I get a vid done using them !!!! I'm going to sub you and hope you return the fav. So we can keep in touch.

Dry. Like every synth ever. But who wants to hear dry oscillators? No producer uses dry synth, that's like eating raw flour, so best make a cake of it! ;)

I recently bought a Mopho Keyboard, which of course is mono. i was wondering what your opinion is, on buying the tetra and using them together? Keeping in mind that I getting everything used.Your KZfaqs are wonderful, thanks so much...Great Stuff!!

Nice! Like others in this thread, I was on the fence between the Prophet 08 DSI and the Mopho x4, and this video finally sealed the deal after a few weeks of reading and thinking about it. Like others in the thread, I have to ask: share the patches? Are they for sale somewhere?

Just got a Mopho x4 after having a Tetra in the past and this has cemented my choice. Notice you've upgraded the knobs, is there a cheaper way than the DSI pack for £40? Also yes please release a few of the presets, they're superb.

Why not just play it as it sounds from the synth, without 2 high end pedals in the signal chain. Finding it a little difficult to hear a video of this synth with a dry signal..

But here is a citation from the Mopho X4 manual: ------------" MIDI SysEx Dump: see table-Allows dumping of Programs in SysEx format via MIDI. Also enables the translation of Mopho x4 programs into formats readable by other DSI synths. The Mopho Keyboard and Tetra voice architectures and voice program parameters are basically the same as the Mopho x4’s. "

Where did you get the knobs from? Some of them look like the replacement knob kit from Dave Smith, but they are all black tops, whereas yours appear as chrome tops? Either way it looks great, never been happy with how mine looks.

Good synth and sound quality but 4 voices in 2016. Real turn off, why I will never waste money on 4 voices or monophonic and shit.

Uhm, 2 oscs per voice + subs + noise, self-oscillating filter and 4 lfos that can do audio rate, as well as tons of modulation possibilities. If that aint enough for you, you should earn to synth better.

Depends if you want an analogue or digital sound. Both have good & bad points.

Manfred klaus you can expand it for more and this didn’t come out in 2016. Years before that actually.
