Actually their is an addition, jennie, lisa and rose died/killed themselves after their hearts got broken, you can see in the video jennie was fighting with the guy and their car crashed, lisa is on the rooftop so she jumped off and rose drowned herself in the bathtub. After the 3 girls killed themselves, jisoo had nothing left (that's why there is a "nothing" sign in her end part) so she drowned herself in the electricuted water (the "nothing" sign is fallen in the water which electricuted the water). Jisoo's part is very similar to real life tho, she loves them so much and is like a mother to them, she loves them more than her family (she said it).

I'm so happy, They finally tried something new for the music!!! I always felt like they have been re-living Boombayah era for the past 4 years, but this song sounds more like a mix of Stay and Playing with Fire (aka the best songs imo) and I couldn't be more happy :)

@Brandi THANK YOU!!! No one ever admits this! Ice Cream was not a good song. I love BLACKPINK I do. And Ice Cream is the one song that is truly awful. Like it's pointless.. it seemed like it should've just been a summer theme song or something. It was bad. It wasn't their usual greatness.

You don’t know how relieved I am with this comeback, I loved BP when they debuted and got very upset when their company turned them into influencers. This is somewhat what I was hoping for from the girls and they’re killing this comeback! We’ve been waiting long enough for this. Very cool, very satisfied as a music lover. ❤️❤️❤️

Wow finally a good song! I am sooo happy to hear AND SEE this. You're right, it's natural, organic, there's a sense of innocence despite the maturity, more emotions and soul. Their last song I loved was As if it's your last and this feels like it's just continued from there. Like the last few disastrous songs just disappeared and now those young girls from AIIYL just grew up a little and are in their next stage. I'm excited to see them and how they do. I got the vocals back which first drew me to them. This was great.

I share the sentiment. 🤗 I'm sooo happy they went retro and the song structure is definitely diff. this time. I even like the lyrics (except the "but why are we/we're still looking for love part") but that's just personal preference. Hopefully they get to have a more deeper content in the future (other than love & hate) since they're beautiful girls and I'm sure they have things theyd want to talk about. Other than that, i looove it

Yeaaaahh.. I am not a big fan but I used to love their songs from Boombayah but how you like that and let's kill this love although bops , are lacking in lyrics I think and I feel so sad because the members though talented weren't given the chance to produce and make their own songs. This song is different though. This reminds me of playing with fire and stay. I love the lyrics and the tune. I hope no one gets offended with what I've said about their previous songs lacking some content into it. I admire BP, I just want them to be given the chance to make their own music

It has addressed some of the typical concerns like utilizing Rose and Jisoo's voices, a different song structure, they've used guitars more, and a bit of ASMR, so they're expirementing a bit (frankly I just want them to play with it so that they can enjoy it). The content is still pretty much simple so it still revolves around love & hate but they have one track that has a bit of vulnerability to it which I find endearing. I'm not a fan of the song actually but it's definitely what I'm looking for from them since it makes it more personable. People seem to think that a song has to sound nice to make an impact, but that's def.not the case. Anyhow, it's a good step forward.
