I started in Gen 1 AC. Those dual missiles are good at entrapment and catching more agile ACs and more effective if the opponent does not notice the direction change or you play them into a direction you have a plan for.

I love this because consistently the moments I have felt the most powerless are when my opponent is directly below or above me. NOW I have a tool in my arsenal for just that situation, and a strong one.

We don't get to exchange information to such a degree like KZfaq does, and by then, the game would be years out of launch.

Nightfall is the best sparring partner IMO😂 Currently running dual missile on a Coral rifle build as it offers exellent control when you master range & altitude 👍🏾

For anyone who's starting Armored Core with 6: Balteus' thousand-missile attack behaves kinda like dual missiles. If you're having trouble dodging the thousand-missile volley, watch this video.

I beat him before he got nerfed, and I’ve always found the best way to deal with them is to assault boost in and unload on him since it leaves him relatively vulnerable and they tend to detonate before they can swing around to you

Thanks for your depth review on dual missiles. I have been trying to make the nightfall setup work on pvp, but I changed the arms for the firmeza and the booster for the spd. I knew they kinda behaviors better at air, but knowing the distance helps a lot.

I forgot to add, while you don't recommend the dual missiles with other missiles, pairing it with plasma missiles is a win. They cover the dead zones of the dual missile AND the also play very well with the air-to-ground launching strategy.

I love these things, especially the P08DUO-03. Amazing addition to any midrange build, that also has higher damage per missile compared to the direct fire options.

It'd be cool to see a guide on shields. I know there's some hidden techniques to them. In the past there was a parry mechanic that very few people actually knew about.

I could never get this weapon to work. Seems like I was just not using it properly and it and it actually fits the aggressive mid-range playstyle I've been trying to build. This is getting me excited to practice with this thing and see if I can hit anything this time. haha Much thanks as always. These guides help a lot.

Thanks for making this! I tried this a couple months after seeing it since air superiority seems to be a must have in ACVI's PVP. The niche of having consistency at specific angles just makes for a fun chip damage weapon in high octane fights.

Thank you again for making these! I thought they were garbage lol -- either launched them too close or too far, and never from above or below. Going to have to rethink a few builds

These missiles have a low tracking ability, I have considered them as useless. But yeah, accroding to you explanation, keeping a good distance, say around 100m, depends on enemy's movement, this can make them effective as they will start the last tracking stage right beside the enemy, which will have the shortest distance and widest spread. It seems spamming them with a flying setup is a good choice. Maybe I should try it later,but not with the BML-G2 version, which is heavy and I don't need the sequential firing.

Man, i didnt use the duals pre 1.03, but after smoking everything PvE with dual Rasestsu RF and 3 cell plasma+JVLN Beta, i tried the P08 medium duals in place of the JVLN. It turns out these are great and they make my stun loop game more steady and consistent. I do miss those occasional backstabs that the JVLNs give, though!

People aren't just saying dual missile sucks. They are saying all missiles suck except tueno, siege missiles, and the coral one lol. Personally I think these ones can do work, but are definitely worse than the popular ones.

I mean most of the recent tournaments ban more than 2 missiles, so not everyone thinks they suck.

I like and appreciate the use of Dual Missile Launchers. But for AC6 after unlocking most weapons I prefer using straight forward launchers like the grenade launchers over chipping away damage with missiles.

ok duo missile arent useless, thats good. ive been trying to apply this logic to jvln beta and those have been much more consistent

I still don’t understand jvln beta totally, but it does seem to put in work if you mix it with other kinds of missiles at the same time

Was just what I had in mind. They are basically the same missile type after all. Might have to try this new targetting method with them. Just came back to say they are a must try. The stagger damage and direct damage are absolutely insane and they reload at 4 sec.

So if you equip both dual missiles and normal missiles, you can confuse people about how to dodge them? Maybe works better against light wt ACs than quads or tanks who have a lot more stability.

And then they buff them xD i can confirm they work pretty well on a airborn build. Ive had great sucees on this build, it can stay airborn 100% of the time if needed. You can switch earshots for the big missiles in the video, works descent if used every time they come of CD. Here is the ID# 7QMXCN9DM5EJ

I am gonna try this with x2 zimm and x2 03, i will get over theme and just spam both missiles and then the zimm, i wanna get close either way, at that point i might as well get closer while in the air above their head, it's not easy as like, boost at theme on the ground while firing a standard x10 but this has way more dps potential

You mentioned that you do not recommend pairing a dual missile with another type of missile launcher. Why is that? To me it sounds like a good idea to pair a dual launcher with a standard launcher. If you fire them together the enemy will have to dodge two separate types of attacks simultaneously. Wouldn't this ensure at least one of the salvos hits unless your opponent pulls out some seriously specific maneuvers?

I was thinking along similar lines but to me it seemed good to pair with vertical missiles. Because the dual missile forces them to jump and ascend, there will be a period of time where they're descending that they can't dodge the vertical missiles! I'm sure there's a reason why using a cannon instead would be preferred though. Cannons are definitely better at taking advantage of a smaller moment of time, so I can see why we would pair the cannon up with the simultaneous dual missiles, but the staggered dual missiles might be different.

Oh i cant wait to see this copium Edit: okay i can see a use for them, but at thw same time in high intensity battles they still dont seem as good as standard. But ill through them on an ariel build and see how they do. Thank you for the video
