This turned out much cooler than I expected! Btw Jaheira has a scimitar that scales off your spellcasting modifier, which could fill a weapon slot until the player has both rapiers. Iirc, this can be looted from her, so it's possible that you could obtain it at the start of Act 2 if the player chooses to go down that path.

This build is rad. I love doing dual wielding blade warlock but usually go with a fighter subclass (literally just to take Riposte so I feel like a cool duelist pirate 😅). This feels more explosive for sure!

Duelist perogative is so dope! My last honor run I was so mad cuz I killed eithel before she retreats and that stops home girl from starting the Hag commity in act 3 so you loose the Varna quest

My fav warlock combo is Bladelock + Battlemaster, just because everything comes back on a short rest. But I'm def gonna try this one, looks neat.

I was using the Ring of Freemovment after I traded my nightwalker boots to the bonespikes! Before that the strange conduit band is really good as well as the coruscation ring to add radiant bolt to your EBs!

i had a funny build idea in might but sadly its not possible my build was going 2 paladin 10 sorcerer and then upcasting smite and using distant spell to bonk people 9 meters away but divine smite doesnt count as a spell and the range is self so its not possible :[ another build idea i have in mind is using halberds and Sentinel feat and the Polearm Master feat to be able to hit enemies from far away and being able to make enemies not be able to hit you because if the enter close range they opportunity attacked and cant move anymore what you go is fighter > level 8 because fighters get an extra feat at level 6 and at level 8 you respec into vengeance paladin so you still have the 2 feats required and if enemies come close you can hit them with a OA then smite off that OA then they cant move and you get an extra 4.5 MS because of vengeance paladin and if you really want to be mean go into a darkness cloud and have darkness vision either via ring or pact invocation so they cant do anything once they are OA'd

I did that sentinal polearm thing on a rogue paladin so I could smite and sneak attack at the same time, it was fun! Takes forever to use cuz the only finesse polearm is in act 3. But I found out Im addicted to using the Rush skill and smiting everyone in the line

I had a similar build. Had a sorcerer twin spell cloud of daggers and had a swords bard paladin using smite and polarm to keep them in the cloud, and if they got out, just used flourishes to push them back in and smite

Potion of haste, quickened metamagic - it is very easy if you know a little bit of game mechanics.

I talk about using haste in the level section a bit, haste lets your use two actions freely on a turn!

yeah the name eldritch Knight always sounds like something more warlock like but heavier built to me as well. I wish 5e had something more like the Pathfinder Magus. @@rollforbooty
