One thing I respect about you is you have the money to buy the best of the best . But you know your viewers and most aren’t wealthy but love being off-road . You take parts most wouldn’t even think of using and make it work . Great job brother
@DirtLifestyle

I really appreciate it, man 🙏. However, I don't have the money to get the best, lol. I do, however, have the leverage to ask companies for the best. But I don't want to use tools or parts that are inaccessible to the average Joe unless I have to. I relate way more to gear heads than influencers because I dug trenches in the rain for a living before this KZfaq thing 😁. For that reason, I want to always build in a way that your average blue collar dude like me can relate to. Thanks for the positive comment, brother 🙌. It means more than you know...

@@DirtLifestyle theres a dana 60, 1650 wide , mm.. i think. its in my h/boy, with a front, cut 3'' h/p. d44 to keep the stock width of a std d44 with 5 stud. not 8 stud. basically a shortened h/d d44 , 8 stud.. the rear d60, needs 4'' , to be same width. 2'' per side.. a d60 can be upgraded to a 70. same housing.. but. the chev diff does the job.. which, we dont have in aus.. we suk in aus.. i used a jeep d44 axle for the shorter d44.. 33.1/4'' ??.. mods are frowned on here.. so i cut my h/boy to swb, h/p.d44 locker, d60 lsd. 5 sp. 351c. 35,s. hitch front rear. . pulled mates 80 series, 95 toyota, out twice with my s/duty.. he,s amazed where this thing goes.. also have a 62 swb f100 4x4. fitted 352 fe..orig v8 292..why block.. has a 9''. think they were still d44 rear.?.its from susanville. ca.. ausie.. @DirtLifestyle Can't wait for the info on your wheels. Running KM3 37x12.50R17 on stock 6" wide steel dual wheels right now that are clearly to narrow for the tires, so I've been looking for an 8" wide solution for 37/38x13.50's that isn't $5,000 Fuels or KMC. Also hate the big wheel/rubberband tire junk so avoiding 20's/22's like the plague. The big duals life is a real challenge.

A. You’ve brought up what to do with the TJ, keep it the way it is and keep it relatable to the viewers. Not everyone can afford a sema build. We enjoyed seeing you out in something we can relate to. B. The j10 build is sick to watch, my buddy had one half buried in the ground from sitting that I helped him get running again in a field then he had to move due to bad situations and it disappeared so we live vicariously through you watching this series. C. Your impeccable knowledge and motivation to take what you have an work with it is commendable and is extremely motivating pressing the people watching to get in their garage and take the rigs they have sitting around and get them back in the woods, keep it relatable like you have been and the following will be consistent. I think you have figured this algorithm out without having to be a “HeY YoUtuBe” guy lol. Been watching you from the start because you are relatable, don’t loose that like the EGO off-road channels have. The decline in their view shows for itself. Job well done Nate.

Hell yeah, love it when one of your vids comes out. I train in 90 plus degree gym all the time, couple that with Southeast NM heat and 20+ bodies punching and wrestling. Heater only goes to 90 we’ve gotten it to 94 before. Makes my life easier when working on my 92 Bronco in my driveway. But I also don’t cover up like you do when you’re grinding. Just use old FR clothes. Be safe out there and take care of yourself.

Thanks for the axle shaft comparison, that was interesting. Sounds like a solid plan for the rear suspension. Air bags would be nice so you can soften the rear when not fully loaded - might not be in the budget now, but maybe make space to add them in the future? Oh, pull those blackberries (roots and all!) that are up against the shop now, before they get any bigger! I ignored some on the back of my shop and then I had to deal with the 10' vine that grew up through the corrugation and into my shop's interior...

Air bags are definitely on the "wants" list! They would be perfect for this truck. We will see how these springs perform...

Dude be careful in this heat it'll sneak up on you as you've discovered! I've been slacking Easter and those liquid iv products to keep hydrated. Also when it gets hot like this in the pnw my sleep pattern changes and I take a siesta during the hottest parts of the day. Then I end up chipping away on projects in the barn at night when it's a lot cooler. Another good addition is a mini fridge stocked with cold beverages and get a really comfy canning chair for taking breaks. Put a QR code up on screen to the votes rolling in.

The newer dodge 2500s has a similar suspension design. I'd recommend getting those coils for the back of the truck. A lot of people swap those coils out. You may be able to snag a set if you find 14+ wagon coils theyll pull about 12" of travel as well.

Bro, you need a mini-split like one from Airspool. No HVAC tools required to hook the lines up to the unit and you can hook some solar panels up to it for when the sun is shining. Beats boiling your brain out there in a home made pizza oven. Thanks for another great video and try to stay hydrated.

Land Cruiser Pickup Cab/Flatbed on a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Chassis. Took 2' out of the frame. Keeping the Cummins/G56 manual. Doing a NWF doubler/205 tcase. Keeping the axles, but going airbags and custom 3 links all the way around. 40" military tires on double beadlocks. Can't wait until the next episode.

I envied your old shop... Your new setup and land has me beating my head on my desk to put out better content. I've got 20 years on you, and still have that country place dream. Well done Nate. A hat tip to you.

NATE!! Invest in a Port-a-cool fan that can push air around in there. It will change your life before you install central air lol.

Nate, I love all your builds and the research you put into them, then so clearly explain for the rest of us. Take care of yourself, so you can keep on building and keep on caring for that family of yours. Need to get you some cooling options for that shop.
