i smashed my controler and after that it wasnt working so i dont think this is the problem, i remove my L1 button and moved that thing inside and sometimes it works for a minute and then just stops and doesn’t work

For me my R2 is always activated and it only registers if I press the PS button I’m so confused

Hey if you're like me who already did this and the r1/l1/r2/l2 button still doesn't work, it might be the green contact trace on the plastic that is not connecting well to the gray contact trace. What I did was to get a pencil and basically traced/drew a line going from the green contact trace to the grey contact trace (do it a couple times like you're shading with the pencil but don't overdo it). Now try to put back the rubber pads and see if the contacts have been connected by the pencil line you drew (pencil has lead in it so it can make a contact), just try and try till the button finally responds. Hope this helps.
