Those leaves in the curry are not basil leaves but actually curry leaves from a curry leaf plant. They are hard to find in the US so many Indian families grow the plant at home. I regularly use the leaves when cooking curry and they smell and taste amazing. The basil of India.

The first time you said "basil" (9:10) it was curry leaves. The second time (13:10) it was mint. Hope they gave you some basil also!

Hey Mikey, the leaves in the curry with the sea bass is curry leaves not basil leaves. And on the Lebanese manoushe bread that's mint and again not basil leaves.

Annnnnd I'm hungry again 😂 the food at expo looks seriously good. I heard the Japanese pavilion is amazing. Enjoy Dubai! Also for anyone interested in Disney, Epcot does have a world food festival where you get to try foods from around the world during September to December. It's the best time to go to Epcot.

The Peru pavilions food course was an absolute must Mikey. They taught you all about their food and cooked right in front of you. I hope you got to go to that. By far the best food at the whole of Expo 2020

If you think it's hot now, it's their winter. In that Navy we were there in our winter of the west.....temps were on average 120°f. So, be happy. Nothing like sweating after getting out of shower. Then constantly feeling sweat rolling down your back all day.

Your releases are always a highlight of my week, Mike! I always find myself eagerly anticipating the notification and thinking "What'll he eat this time?" As usual, that all looked insanely delicious and gave me fond memories of when I lived in Houston near the Mahatma Gandhi District, where all the little mom n' pop Indian/Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurants and shops were. Such good food and memories!

You mentioned wanting Epcot to have something like this.. kinda think they do once a year with their Food and Wine festival. Though, I’ve never bothered to go even if I do like 9 miles away. It’s supposed to be pretty good to go to with more to offer than the usual food they have in each of the countries.

The majority of food in Dubai once you get out of the touristy parts like Marina is actually just Indian street food. Not that that’s a bad thing at all 😄
