Dubai South is Dubai's new economic free zone also known as DWC or Dubai World Central spanning 145 square kilometers, a master-planned city dubbed as “The Centre of Tomorrow”. It comprises of residential communities, office spaces and the world's largest airport. It has 7 different zones for residential, commercial, logistics, aviation, hospitality & leisure integrated with one another. Dubai South was established in continuation of the vision of the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Dubai South comprises of a Residential District located in the north-east corner with clusters of apartments, town houses & villas with facilities like parks, jogging tracks, swimming pools, sports complexes, playgrounds, retail stores and more. The master developer has their own developments here like Pulse Residential, Pulse Villas & Pulse Townhouses, there are also developers like Emaar, Damac & MAG offering stylish residential apartments. Dubai South has also launched a TEN-YEAR RENT-TO-OWN SCHEME, as per which if you rent a property here for 10 years, at the end of the 10 years tenancy you become the owner of the property.
Dubai South also comprises of a 32 billion dollars Airport, to become the world's largest in terms of passenger capacity, it will have 5 parallel runways for simultaneous take offs and landing and will accommodate 200 wide body aircrafts in its concourses to serve an estimated 220 million passengers annually when it will be fully operational by the year 2030.
