HAD to give this a like because: 1. Nicely done video! 2. You can just pull over where there's a spot and camp?!! Awesome!! 3. WHAT a BEAUTIFUL country! 4. A roundabout in a tunnel? Are you kidding me?! That is SICK! 5. Did I mention what a beautiful country it is! Now I REALLY can't wait to go to Norway!

Thank you very much! Yes! come! It's really something about Norway. And there is one more thing. Norway will not show that to everyone. If you come here for two weeks it still doesn't mean you gonna see all the beauty. it might rain all day and you will be cold and wet all days. But if you are lucky you might be getting awesome weather and you will see how beautiful nature is over here. And it is stunning. Next year I will be riding and daily vlogging across all of Scandinavia. Will see how lucky am I gonna get :)

😁 If I would of take all my filming gear down- I could easily take off the tank bag and half of my center bag. But yes I took one extra pair of jeans, 2 extra T-shirts, and a little too much underwear and socks :) Which I did not have to use. There is room for improvement :) Welcome aboard! I will try to put a new episode every Thursday. The trip is done and was a blast. Now just a lot of editing.

@@cichus10 Sorry, I did miss your question. For what I tend to use it for, I love this bike. It is so much fun on twisty roads. In later episodes, I will go more on gravel roads and I found out that I wanna learn how to be good on them, cause this bike is so much fun on that kind of roads. Didn't have any issues at all. But I expected that, so I already broke Ducati's warranty terms. I changed the oil myself at 800km and later at 3000 km *that was done at the dealership, had to reset the software from the brake in, to normal mode. Cause I wanna keep that bike, the oil will be changed more frequently and done by me and my friend- saving money on high dealership costs and learning experience.

Thank you so much😊 How do you like your helmet? I have some really annoying pressure points on my ears and that did not go away even after 9K km... and do you ride it with the beak, or did you take it away? It's kinda a good head shaker on the highways speeds :D
@mountainridevideos2749

@@nemoltu i need to get used to it. Its definitely a big difference as it my first ADV helmet. I currently ride with the Beak and its quite noticeable on the highway. I also had to retighten it after riding (that fixed some weird sound issues), luckily i have no pressure points with installed bluetooth system.

Are you aware you can mount the auxiliary tanks on this bike? To travel long distances you should use them. Anyway, beautiful places great video. 😉
@nemoltu
@nemoltu Жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks a lot for the comment. I'm definitely aware of that, thanks for bringing it up. I was keeping that bike in my mind for too long before I decided to buy it :) The problem with the auxiliary tanks, that you can't mount any kind of luggage over them. Even the Ducati hard panniers are not compatible. So, I guess they were created for some local desert explorings or some kind of rally races. I was really excited about them, but I think it sounds good in advertisement videos, but not a really useful accessory for a traveler.

Love what you are sharing about the bike and your adventure! I will be getting my bike next Friday. I ordered the auxiliary tanks, but they wont be in until early next year. I thought Id be able to load soft Mosko Moto bags above the tanks no problem. Id think the tanks would have to be reinforced to some degree and soft bags could slip right over? Mosko bags do you use?
@nemoltu
@nemoltu Жыл бұрын
@@miken8009 Hey! I really doubt that you gonna be able to fit MoskoMoto revolvers over the auxiliary tanks. Cause now it just fits perfectly on DesertXand if you gonna put the tanks, that will be wide and the pockets for the bags will bend like a banana and that's gonna make a problem when you gonna need to insert the dry bags. That's my prediction. let me know if you gonna succeed, the reason I did not get those tanks was the luggage problem. I have revolvers 80.

Hi, I am thinking of buying the same MoskoMoto luggage as you have for my Desert X. Did you fit any additional protection to prevent the soft luggage touching the exhaust? Thanks.
@nemoltu
@nemoltu Жыл бұрын
Hey. Everything you gonna need for the heat prevention is already included in a set. No need anything to add. DesertX exhaust doesn’t even get that hot, but I installed the heat protector which does come with the set. You still gonna have to figure something out about left hand side. It skips over the little plate and rubs against the swing arm. Plus, if you are not planing to use any rear luggage rack- make sure you protect the rare grab handle, o whatever we can call it, the three belts cuts through the paint. You will see what I mean. Good luck! And enjoy- I really love that set 👌

Hello , what is your feedback about mosko moto 80 rackless luggage that you used on Desert x in your beautifull trip ? Thanks
@nemoltu
@nemoltu Жыл бұрын
Hi, Alessandro, it was the first time I've tried soft luggage. Before I was a big fan of aluminum panniers, cause they looked so much more convenient. I gotta say, MoskoMoto revolver 80 is a really good option if you trying to have a slimmer setup, or if you gonna go offroading. I found it really useful and so versatile. You can attach a lot of things to it or expand it if you need extra room to put on your jacket on a hot day. If I wouldn't travel gravel roads, I would prefer hard panniers, just for one reason- locks. Otherways I love this setup and I would go RTW, definitely, that would be my choice. Love how sturdy and well-made they are. Had some accident and it slid a little on the pavement, but you bearly can see any marks, so it proved to be good.

As a person who used both multistrada and desert x, how do you describe both bike by percentage of offroad and onroad? Thanks in advance
@nemoltu
@nemoltu Жыл бұрын
I am not an experienced offroad rider by any means. But I love the way desert X feels on gravel. Compare to the Multistrada it feels somehow very light. I was afraid to take Multistrada to gravel even if I did. I would say that as much Multistrada you can call a sport touring that much you can call Desert X a dirt adventurer. If you get what I'm trying to say. Neither of them is a sport bike or a dirt bike, but if I'm thinking dirt -Desert X all day for me, without forgetting that it is a really fun bike on the twisty roads and I mean FUN :) But the first feeling after I just sat on it was- yeah, feels so light and cheap compare to Multi :)
@aegeanadventure
@aegeanadventure Жыл бұрын
@@nemoltu Thank you so much for detailed answer. So, are you happy with desertx on the long trips? Or do you miss Multistrada when you’re cruising on the road? Because as I see, desertx is narrower bike and has a very short windshield, so it looks like it’s taking very much wind, does it?
@nemoltu
@nemoltu Жыл бұрын
@@aegeanadventure I sure miss Multistrada on the high-speed roads. I would of lie if I would of say differently. The adaptive cruise control, wind protection, blind side radar, and power. That's are some things that make the price difference 30% up, but... There is always a but... If I wouldn't be able to buy any bike and had to stick to the only one from now for the rest of my life, I would go for the Desert X. I know, it's a bold statement, but I am having so much fun with it everywhere, where the speeds are below 120 km/h (75mph), or gravel roads. You will hear me a lot complaining about the helmet wind turbulence, but that's cause I was riding with an adventure helmet with a beak, or whatever it's called. With a regular helmet, the vibrations are way less sensible. There is one more thing with this bike- It has some holes in the front of the tank like winglets for pushing the hot air from you while riding. Guess what happens in the rain? Yes, sir, all the water gets into your crotch :) so better have really good rain pants :) BTW there is a taller, adventure windshield, if somebody needs some more protection.
@aegeanadventure

@@nemoltu Thanks a alot for these comments which are giving idea about user experience. And I can understand your “bold statement” :) It really looks so much exciting and promising so much fun. I had a chance to see and sit on the DesertX yesterday and really liked. But I think I’ll go with Multistrada V2s at the same price. Because I think I won’t give up the comfort of multi when I think the long distance tours with pillion.
@nemoltu
