Great video. Burning just though if you flip the bike this thing could be pretty Contra productive and ruin your frame all along while saving the fairings? Haven’t seen a single test of those from evotech and to my knowledge evotech doesn’t test the things (only mounting tests). Any views on that? Thinking of getting something to pretect the bike 🏍️

Best way to 100% protect your bike is to keep in in a garage and never use it 😊. Otherwise, we do what we can, I guess . Take care

Hi there. Thanks for making this video! Two questions. How did you know the torque spec and do you have a video of the radiator guard install?

Hi, I called a Ducati showroom and they told me the value, not sure if they emailed the manual page as well. The radiator guard the EP sent was wrong size so I didn’t install it. Hope this helps

Mr. Bear - so, I finally got around to installing these things today. Having some issues. The bike is on the side stand. The right side of the bike went on fine. The left side however is giving me fits. The bolts don't seem to be seating all the way down. All four bolts are greased on just the threads per the guidance. The left hand plate moves around, between the bike frame and the bolts. Does the bike on the side stand have anything to do with it? I'm about to put everything back to stock and start all over and try from the left side. Any thoughts?

Hey Darryl, sorry to hear that. I understand your frustration as I had alignment issues on my other bike, CB1000R. There are a few things to pay attention: 1. Never remove both bolts (original ones) at the same time. If you remove only one and replace, you shouldn’t have alignment issues, but I don’t think this caused your problem. 2. Check again the measurements of EP bolts and make sure you’re using the right length. If I remember correctly, all 4 bolts are different. Also check if all the plastic spacers are in place. I believe this will solve your problem. 3. If nothing works that means EP sent you a faulty kit. When I bought mine, I also ordered the radiator protection who was faulty, completely wrong size. They didn’t believed me when I called them but after I sent photos and everything, EP refunded my money in full. Please let me know how this goes. All the best.

It's hard to tell what sockets or torx he's using. Anyone have an exact note. The directions don't tell you.

@@darrylm79 You need a wrench with14mm socket to remove original engine bolts, 10mm hex alan key / T-handle for new bolts and a 10mm hex for torque wrench at the end. I have a photo with all the tools you need but can’t attach here. If you need it drop me an email. Hope this help. Cheers
