Carbon Fiber = Plastic but you knew this, right? Most people don't. They think it's some exotic material. All it is basically is a special layer of carbon tossed over plastic and baked. As a result the plastic is impervious to heat and this is why a lot of planes and bikes are made from this but let's call a spade a spade.
