Ducati Monster 1200s first ride as a Harley Beginner Rider!

Күн бұрынI got invited by my friend to try out his 2019 Ducati Monster 1200S that has been modded to push out beyond 150hp!! This 2019 Ducati Monster 1200 First Ride was INSANE! As a Harley Sportster Iron 883 rider with only 1 year of riding experience, I hesitated for awhile but now I can truly say that I have ridden the Ducati Monster 1200S as a new or beginner rider. Is Ducati Monster 1200 good first bike? I go through Ducati Monster 1200 Urban mode, Touring mode, and Sport Mode! If you have been following my channel, you would know I had a chance to ride a Ducati Monster 821 naked bike and I thoroughly enjoyed it but this 1200s is a different beast all together. Monster 821 vs Monster 1200 is day and night in terms of power delivery. And coming from a cruiser rider, this naked motorcycle performed like a dream!

Thanks for watching my part 1 of the Monster 1200s! Part 2 is coming next week and it is when I take this bike on the highway 😳. Comment below what thoughts were about this episode and if you have any experience on a Monster 1200 and share similar first experience! edit 1: Ducati 1200 does have self canceling indicators but it is measured by distance and dependent on the speed you are going. So.. basically don't depend on it to self cancel 😅 edit 2: the rear wheel was slipping because the tires were not warmed up yet!

You did a really good job of editing on this one. Also, I can really see you on a naked biked vs harley in the future. The value is just so much better on a naked bike.

thanks man - in all honesty, I never knew naked bikes would be this comfortable. I grouped them in the sport class when I was searching for my first bike just by its look. You may be right about naked bikes being the best bang for the buck in terms of performance and comfort! Thanks for the feedback of the edit - I cut out a lot of B Rolls and intro to see how it is received.

🤣 give me some slack - I am used to topping at 5-6k on my Harley. Needed to ease the learning curve on this monster

i own a 2021 1200s . i experienced the slide too. Turns out it was tire pressure. I own a Pani v4s also. I prefer the monster , crazy torque .

Thanks for letting me know this! I was thinking it was just my mistake on how I was handling the bike. I will let Josh know to check the tire pressure. Cheers!

I have a 2020 1200S and my right wrist goes numb after 15 minutes (never been a problem on other bikes) and i havent seen anyone with the MA009 on their 1200s, how does it compare to the stock bars?
