Ducati Panigale V4S Review - What a weekend!
What is your dream bike? For many, the Ducati Panigale is the bike they dream of owning. Thanks to Ducati London I had a 2022 Panigale V4S for the weekend, and the opportunity to see if it lived up to my dreams.
In this video, I make the most of having the bike for the weekend and ride it from early morning to late at night, over a long weekend. I take you with me as I ride through Essex on a blisteringly hot summer's day, as well as capture photographs as the sun sets.
I also chat with Sara Dean Cole, who is the president of the Houston Ducati Owners Club about her experience owning a Panigale V4S.

Nearly all my bike’s have been upright, although I have been fortunate enough to ride a few friends sports bikes over the years! The Panigale is certainly a lovely looking bike but it also handles and has so much power. It doesn’t cripple you either like some sports bikes! Thanks for watching! 😁👊

Awww, thank you Sara. I actually felt very comfortable riding the Panigale and it would really be a dream come true to have the opportunity to ride it on track! It's a beautiful bike - I bet you loved every minute of it! I didn't ride it on the road but I did on track (Spa, BE). Was an amazing experience for my second trackday ever! Also got to try the Pani V2, but I really liked the V4s better. Smoother engine, more forgiving and felt more confident on it. That reaction of the boy at the traffic lights, that rev'it gesture will never get old and really tells it all. And so cool to see Sara here too in your vid, one of the best brand ambassadors if you ask me! Can't wait to meet her again next year. Thanks for the shoutout Phil, I should really get that Monster out again 😬

It really is a beautiful bike and yes, you couldn’t keep me off it that weekend! 😁 I’m hoping to review the V2 one day and see how they compare! The V4S is a tough bike to beat, whatever you are riding. Sara is lovely isn’t she, and as you say a great ambassador for Ducati and Dainese. I can’t wait for your exciting KZfaq adventure, it’s going to be amazing and I’m proud to support you! 🥰🙏

🤣🤣🤣 You know me too well! This was actually and surprisingly very comfortable for a sports bike. For a Sunday afternoon blast it was great. Perhaps I was enjoying myself too much to notice the riding position! 🤪

Nice watch and love the photography of the Panigale. I went over to Ducati Chelmsford yesterday and was drooling over their V4S demo. I so need to own one of these now! Could I be saying bye bye to the 959 in 2023! 😍

Hi Phil, Mark here, Harley Dave’s neighbour. I’m trying to make a decision on the next bike. I’m very keen on used MV F4 that looks so cool. I see Duc London have a 22 year pre registered non S model Panigale V4 for sale. Also very tempting but still a few grand more than the F4. Seeing you spent quite some time on the V4 could you honesty live with the engine heat issue. Is it that bad? Many people say it would stop them buying one. Good to get your take on it? 👍

@@billyboy77801 Hi Mark, how you doing? So the honest short answer is yes, I could live with the heat issues, however… I’m not going to lie, I did have a heat rash on the back of my calves after riding for a couple of hours but we was experiencing an unusually hot UK heatwave, in August. When the temperature dropped in the morning or early evening it wasn’t an issue. I hear it doesn’t run as hot as the previous years model. I hear a few riders wear compression socks which really help! 🤷‍♂️ Despite the heat issue, the V4S was an absolutely incredible bike to ride, I’m sure you will love it! 🙏

Enjoyed the video Phil. Even though it makes absolutely no logical sense for me to own one of these, I can't help lusting for one so badly and hope one day soon to be able to do the totally illogical and actually buy one.

Thanks for your encouragement! That’s the thing sometimes about dream bikes or dream cars, they aren’t always practical and it makes no logical sense to own one, but the desire to have one in garage is a force to be reckoned with! I hope your dream comes true! 👊

If I had the money, yes. The question for me would be the Panigale or Streetfighter which is much more my style!

@@TheAdventuresofPhilJonesI’m lucky enough to be picking one this year. Unsure which. Can’t really tell from a day with either…. Both are comfortable but I wonder what 4 hours in a Pani would do to you. I’m only 40 and that’s me in my profile pic… fairly fit but I can imagine the Pani would tire me out. 🤷‍♂️ Also , I’m going to get flack now, BUT, all sports bikes look quite similar. I suppose they have to - it the aerodynamic design. So, for me the SF is more unique looking.

@@markholmes5695 Good luck making a decision. Both are amazing bikes and really comes down to personal taste, although I absolutely love the Panigale I think the Streetfighter would be the best choice for me! Let me know what you go for! 😁👍
