I’ll look forward to following this build. As a semi- experienced wooden ship kit modeler, I’m amazed at the amount of precision you’re putting into the hull at this point. After planking, maybe a second planking, all that work will be invisible. Unless you desire a perfect museum quality model, you can skip a lot of the "perfection" steps in the hull. I finished a Model Shipways "Syren" frigate a while ago…. Every gun is completely rigged, deck furniture as described in the plans, but nobody looks at all that, the contours of the hull etc, it’s the complexity of the rigging that’s the thing that’ll draw attention. Btw I’d recommend the Syren kit to anyone with least intermediated skills/experience. The instruction book and plans are great. It was my last build, unfortunately, age (81) has limited my vision and dexterity to where I just enjoy others' efforts😢😅
