Very very cool. I remember taking a lap steel guitar years ago, that I still have been trying to play a lead break. Well, my dad was playing the main line. At the same time, my youngest son was only one years old and kept trying to pluck the strings as I gently pushed him back with my foot. The result was so funny that my dad couldn’t keep playing or singing as a trashed through the worst lead break you’ve ever heard. You on the other hand have nailed it.

I once had a 1969 fender string master double neck lap steel on four legs. I used really big strings the GHS dobro set starting at 16. The amp I used was a 1961 Magnatone M4 vintage tube amp. It was the best slide guitar tone I’ve ever heard. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

This is the first time I have ever heard it played on a Duesenberg Alamo Lapsteel ! I have listened to several different singers . Each instrument has it's own particular sound . I prefer the original version but there is also a version done on a ukulele & guitar by Taimane I love it too!
