Beautiful Kids....they're all so good looking! Mr. and Mrs. Bates are wonderful parents!

They seem a lot happier and more natural than the Duggars. The way the husband and wife still look at each other is definitely a relationship goal. While they are more conservative than I agree with, I think they do the things they do from a genuine place and not to be controlling.

I'm sure they have their own struggles as we all do but watching the Bates is so comforting for me after having a tough childhood of my own. I am inspired by their positivity, patience, and love.

I love how the Christian father empowers the girls and does not allow them to use their femininity as a way out of work. He does not bind these girls to roles of inequality. Something rare in this lifestyle. Bravo Dad!

Love this show so much more than the Duggars. Parents are hands on, kids seem normal ( sarcastic, have their own opinions, etc...)

I adore them they truly seem happy. People claim they know they are “bad” but no one has ever shown proof. And Kelly Jo and Gil both willingly interact and attend to all their kids. I feel like she loves being a mom and they seem more natural and to enjoy eachother. Ofcourse who really knows, it is still tv. But I appreciate their joy and genuine energy. Thanks for sharing the love and laughs!

I come from a family of 11, Was raised back in the 5o, 60 , 7o, my dad die in 71, I just turned 19 , I got married 3mo. later, we had some bad time , but lot of good time, my dad work 3 jobs, I am 67, have 2 children's and 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandsons

I hope your family will ALWAYS remember what your then friends, the Duggars, did for your family in building that huge extension on your home and providing a lot of help with the building. Like you said , without them, you never could have done it. I’ve never had a friend do anything close to something like this so you were very, very blessed to have friends who thought so much of you and your family that they would go to so much trouble to do that for you.

I grew up with parents overwhelmed by having children so I have a feeling the amount of negligence that goes on by the parents and lack of resources. I feel sorry for the children.

Chickens should be kept free range. It's more ethical and healthier for the birds and healthier and tastier eggs. :D

You are way off Mrs. Bates re: the fluoride! Do the research....My children were raised with our spring water, and they have never had a cavity ....I am happy to see they are in their 30's and have perfect teeth.....never a cavity and never any fluoride.

Je n'arrive pas à adhérer à ce "challenge ". Je trouve qu' il n'y a vraiment pas de quoi tirer une télé-réalité de ce genre d'éducation . Les filles aux jupes sous les genoux, les parents qui disent aux enfants de garder les yeux rivés sur le sable pour ne pas être tentés par les naïades, un dieu omniprésent... Je trouve ça plutôt glauque. Les filles qui non fiancées, ne doivent pas restées seules dans une pièce avec leur "futur" mec, etc, etc... Il y a déjà suffisamment de pays qui imposent ce genre d'obligations pour ne pas en faire un divertissement, de surcroît, dans un pays supposés civilisés.
