You said that the new Duke 390 needs to be serviced every 5000-6000 kms. That is completely wrong information and I feel a BIG OMISSION on your part since you are reviewing this bike. The service interval of Duke 390 is 7500 kms. So when you mention the service interval of a bike as 5000-6000 kms when the actual interval is 7500 kms the magnitude of deviation from the correct information is huge. I know this is just a mistake on your part but it can easily mislead some people who don't know so much about the bike, and can possibly affect their decision to buy or not buy this bike in some cases. Hence this mistake has to be pointed out and needs to be corrected by you.

i have 2019 duke 390 amd ot cam kick ninja 400's ass anyday....i wash it with high pressure ...you were galking about TFT being destroyed by water you don't know shit ....its the best bike for 3 lac rupees not only in india but worldwide ...look at international reviews they never stop complementing duke .....even it costs about 5000 dollors to them which is almost double as compare to our indian price still they prefered duke 390 over z400 ....

I own 2018 white.Heats like hell in Mumbai traffic. Left leg goes to medium rare in no time. But acceleration is unparalleled to anything at this price.

Just 2 hours back i took a test ride of this motorcycle...... and now you have put a video of it. For me a person coming from a pulsar 180, this bike was like a bomb..... accelerates like hell!!!!!....... can't even imagine what the older duke 390 was capable of... due to city conditions can't engage more than 3rd gear 100 kmph..

I own rc390 2017 and it is my first bike I used to ride activa and still have it But if you have chill mind then go for it I do race's not gonna lie and i beaten z250 ninja 300 beneli 302r. On straight line soo many times And i am not even going to talk about Enfield people 😂

If you ride decently under 7000 rpm you will get atleast 26kmpl. And note that the bike does speeds upto 110 below 7000 rpm. But, in bumper to bumper traffic mielage takes a big hit. If you looking for outright fuel economy then you should probably consider something else.

Nice review. Bought this 2 months ago as my first bike. First few days were really overwhelming but now I feel under complete control. Also I think you are reviewing the 2017 variant which has a smaller radiator fan and poor hit dissipation. The 2018 make has all issues been sorted out.

Yes this bike is really a gem, the older version being more aggressive. I had the 2014 version non slipper but the only sore point is the brittleness of the rims and other parts and overall inferior quality. Moreover the urgency level is too much and city riding is shit. The radiator fan never shuts off, thus overheating the gaskets later to leak. Finally happily owning a CBR 250r.

Bro I would like to correct one thing I used to own a duke 200 with the knuckle guards provided by ktm and it is really sturdy and it saved my arms and it didn't break into two pieces even after I dashed at speed of 100kmph 👍

I have this and the ninja 300 in my wishlist for my next upgrade. I already have a pulsar 220 which ill be using mostly in the city after buying the new one. If I manage to save for the ninja then only I'll buy it otherwise the D390 is the best bet.

😂 not that serious...after 5 day experience.. now i can say it is the best thing i have driven so far...initially it took me some time figure out throttle response.. now its tamed...plus braking is best it feels more safer..

@@jaysurya734 go for existing one. They may in ncrease the price as they bring newer versions. For ex. The old Duke 390 was sold at 2.1lakhs on road bangalore, now the new 390 is sold at 2.9 lakhs. See the trend?
