Looking forward to seeing this build at MoParty!! It won't be at MoParty, but we just bought a '99 Dakota regular cab short bed 2wd, intense blue. Its still a 3.9, but only 46xxx original miles. The hood and front bumper were bent in a V shape, so we got a black hood, grill, and bumper from a Durango in the salvage yard......and leather seats and console from also from the Durango. Next up, suspension, wheels, tires!

I am not a paid spokesperson for Boosted Motorsports but I highly recommend getting a plug n play kill switch. I bought one and it was super simple to install.

That car sounds like it's gonna rip bigtime once you get it tuned and some break-in hours on it! Great job, especially like that rear subframe/cradle assembly you stuck in, that is beefy. Do get it looked at with that gear whine under load, gears were not set up correctly IMHO. Excellent idea with that kill switch, small price to pay for added security. I also use an old school steering wheel club, anything to slow down a thief will help. Thanks for another cool video!

Hey John if you still haven't figured it out put the carpet in back on that trunk latch like if you're going to assemble it completely try that I had the same issue with my car when I swapped out the tail Wing I left the carpeting just to see if everything goes fine and my trunk wouldn't close until I put everything back together and didn't have any more issues might be some kind of a connection doing ground I don't know something weird

Carpet and full interior is in the car and it’s still that loud. Differential is DONE lol

@@BoostedMotorsports nicely done John that car sounds amazing bud I literally was listening to your video in my semi truck and my whole truck just rumbled inside LOL 🤣 the issue with the trunk I had to put the carpet back in its place and the little emergency latch where it went and didn't have any more issues with the trunk it closed just fine but before that it will do the same thing I close it in a couple of seconds it popped open on its own I was panicking and that's because my car is brand new and I had swapped out the OEM wing for the red-eye wing 💪

Trunk probably keeps doing that because of the passive RF antenna box isn’t plugged in somewhere challengers have a few of them through out the car and if it isnt plugged in all the way it will make the trunk unlatch itself, there should be one behind each qrt panel interior trim and I think some behind the rear bumper and one in the frt to I think

What a massive shame to do all that brilliant bodywork and it is soooo easy to take off the cab and you could have painted all of the crossmember and components...✌️👍🇬🇧
