I took an oath as a cadet four years ago to my Squadron, to my Country & to my Queen. I never thought that 4 yrs later I'd be saying goodbye to a figure I looked up to & held in such high regards. Her Majesty wasn't just a Queen, she was a mother to the people of her country and to her family & HRH Prince Philip was much more than a king consort he was a man of stature, a man with a deep respect to country & military service who showed that no matter your age you can always move with the times.
