1:02 When the narrator spoke and the general was paused in mid air........ you would darn near chew all your nails off to the finger, waiting out that commercial break.... The stress was unbelievable!!!

I didn't like the model car jumps. When Warner brothers started cutting the budget on the Dukes of Hazzard, That was the beginning of the end for the show.

Not to mention the bad scripts. At least they got rid of the annoying horn section in the music band.

In all fairness, they were running low on Didge Chargers, and WB shot themselves in the foot when they weren’t paying Tom Wopat and John Schneider the royalties that they were owed. And I will admit that the model kit jumps weren’t too bad (except for the REALLY obvious shots, sometimes TOO obvious), but the scriptwriting was horrendous the majority of the time, but being ten or younger at the time, we was loyal both to the show and the General.

A lot of the big jumps are miniatures and recreations of General Lee one was the silo the General Lee jumped over was the Rosco cop car got stuck in
